In fairness, I've never tried those two beers, but judging from the 97697687654 beers I have tried, they suck. :p

I'm not a particular fan of the wheat beer, John, but really enjoy Belgian beer as a rule. I used to be a beer/wine buyer for a large natural foods grocery store and learned to appreciate the finer nuances of imported & micro beers. Drink on!
I like British style beers, heavy dark beer is great. Also like barley wine. I hardly drink at all though.

All amazingly fueled by religious fundamentalist, anti-abortionists, prayer in school advocates, served up by ordained and anointed legislators.
Add a Born again President that god directed to invade Iraq.
Ummm
Maybe I should abandon politics.
Don't give up now, it's just getting good! Though I have to admit, watching my son grow yearly more bewildered, more discouraged is tough. It's hard to explain why one has to keep on keeping on. I do it because I hope it brings hardship to all those you mention above.

Ishbel, everybody is entitled to food stamps in America. Only the non-lazy people are forced to pay for them so that would be the connection.

Of course, all people who can't work are lazy. None are disabled, or have been left by a husband who won't pay child support, or are too old to work. That never happens.

It's also true that everyone is entitled to food stamps. You don't have to be poor, or prove that you're looking for work, if you can work. College students can get them, too, according to Jeff.

I'm just glad he's enlightening you on how things are done here. I'd hate for you to get any misinformation...

We've got sooooo many entitlement programs that the one's who are against them get them and even the capitalist pigs, who are badly maligned by their slave labor get them.

Happy days are here again! They kick us in the rear again! Let us drown ourselves in beer again! (You get the picture).
My own guess is that those of J's ilk are so worried about keeping their jobs that they hope all the newly unemployed are too sick and weak from hunger to compete. How else can they hope to stay employed in a competitive market?

Well I realise that the food stamp crack was a lame joke but the reaction was entertaining. I mean Ishabel pretty much claimed that she has no use for a country that won't give her free health care. That being said, nobody would dare take away a Scot's guaranteed right to free mental healthcare.
