Our Holy Book Infiltrated by Satan?

I feel that the Bible is the word of God but over time has been infiltrated with the deceits of Satan. I say this for how can a writing that is so Godly be the cause of so many wars and divisions among Gods creatures. I can only come up with one answer, infiltration. Now do not misunderstand me I am not saying to throw away the bible but simple be able to identify these corrupted srtatements and thoughts of conscience and purge them from your minds. Three things come to mind:

1. Eating Meat, in Genesis God specifically says only the plants and seed baring trees are to be for mans food. Yet he changes his mind and allows us in Deuteronomy to eat meat. I say look onto the Prophecy of Enoch and the bible it’s self for the true word of God on meat eating. Simple stated eating meat corrupts the conscience to desire war and violence. In addition, we are taught that God does not change yet here he changes his mind! I do not think so.

2. Jews as the Chosen ones; I feel this was a device by Satan to put the world against a group of humans and by doing so keep a rift within all of humanity. I feel it was the tongue of Satan who whispered to man this notion. Unfortunately, it worked for Satan hence and the Jews had been persecuted and murdered for centuries. Again, here Satan achieved a major goal in that it kept a group of Gods creatures separated and tortured for thousands of years that these people really did not deserve.

3. The statement by Paul about homosexuality being an abomination as in my previous post I go into some explanation but again another ploy to separate man from man. It is not Paul’s fault or any of the prophets because the influence of the unseen evil that pervades in and out of our conscience is quite overpowering. The only way to recognize it is by living in love, truth and honesty. Ask yourself if I where loving would I hate? If I where truthful would I believe man or God and if I where honest would my heart really feel that weight of judgment? I say no.

I say its time for humans to feel Gods word and not mimic it through words of others. For it is these words, which have brought us to a near state of destruction. It only takes one bad apple to ruin the whole bunch. Therefore, it only takes one bad comment inserted into a trusted and beloved book amongst thousands of good comments to destroy the true meaning.

I really do not believe that we are born of sin, nor do I believe that God wants the world destroyed as it is told to us by men. Revelation is a possible scenario but not one that has to be. I feel God wants us to live in harmony with nature and each other and to live on. All of this talk about rebuilding temples and Armageddon is the tool of Satan not the cleansing of God. Think about it, why would God want to destroy his creation? Only spoiled bad-minded children do such things. Let us reclaim God as the true being of Light and Love from the warmongers and haters who have controlled him for thousands of years.

Moreover we are not born of sin but into sin. You need to make the distinction. If one believes he or she is born of sin then they are doomed from the start and will not live to their fullest of Gods intent. If you believe you are born into sin then you can be all you can imagine to be, for God made all of us as wonderful beings of light with the potential to do amazing things especially heal the world.

Dear RKS, I have been to where you are by way of what man has interpreted the scriptures to say and always found uneasiness with it. I have a question for you, are you gay or straight? If straight then who gives you the right to say what another person is going through, certainly not God it can only be men. I say stop listening to mans interpretation and start questioning what is written and what is logical about that writing. God does not talk in riddles as men do and for anyone to blaspheme this creation is unforgivable. Man makes the rules delivers the message and governs the minds but it is God and only God who releases him. Another question, do you think God wants us to think and question things? Alternatively, are we to act as robots and question nothing? Why are there so many different species? Because God loves diversity and why would he not want it in his human creation. You need to stop looking at the world through the negative scripture and find the thousands of good scripture and reflect with them, I think then your heart will heal.

Well I'm in deep trouble then cause I love meat, especially hamburger, chicken & turkey.
Used to love pork, but I don't have the teeth for it anymore. I miss it though. Guess I get a one way ticket to the hot zone, no sun lotion required.

when i first started reading this, i was rolling my eyes and saying "wacko" in my head. i'm glad i kept reading, because you brought up a lot of good points as far as contradiction and hatred.

not believing in god or satan, i can't attest for the reasons behind any of it being anything other than the contradictions being due to the fallacy of man and their need to hide their hatred and bigotry behind lies of what a "supreme being" would supposedly do or approve of.

God allowed those emerging from the ark to eat meat that was properly treated because there was nothing else to eat. But I am guessing you know this.
Oh and the Jews are the chosen, Christ himself was Jewish I have taken that as the reason.
However I do agree with some of what you saw here. It is very disturbing that our Holy Word has been used as a tool for hate.

While I may be an atheist I don't think you can blame the Bible itself for the "bad apples". The Bible itself is merely a book. What comes out of it is dependent upon the interpretation of the reader. A bad apple will pull any excuse out of it as a reason to hate, judge, deceive, or accuse others so that they might rule superior in their bigotry. They will try to tell you that to disagree with their interpretation is to disagree with "God himself" and attempt to pass you off as hateful and evil in order to hide their own hate behind a thinly veiled curtain.

Frankly though I see the whole Bible as simply a philosophical telling of how man ought to treat one another and why they treat one another as they do. It is all figurative. What matters is not what the book says, but how we interpret it and apply it to our own lives.
