Wednesday we have an appointment with a Realtor to look at a house we found. It's a 4 bedroom house here in town, well across town from where we are now, and much quieter. From what I've seen of the pictures that were posted it's in decent shape, and they are only asking about $60,000 for it. I asked my dad earlier today if he could go with us Wednesday, as I know we will have to have a co-signer for this house, and if he agrees to it it will be him. I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much but I really want to get out of this house. The roof is in horrible shape, borderline about to cave in on my daughter. It was like that when we moved in but our landlord decided not to fix it and is now saying since we are rent-to-own the house that it is our responsibility to fix it. I say horse manure!! He knew it was like this when we moved in, hell he even showed it to us when we came to look at the house. This place is way too small for us 7. The 3 oldest boys are all crammed into 1 room. My daughter shares her room with the baby. Our bedroom isn't really a room but the laundry room with our full size bed crammed in there along with the washer and dryer. So I really want this house. It would be much better than here. One of the bedrooms is the complete upstairs so we could divide that into 2 rooms for our oldest son and my daughter. The only kids that would have to share a room are Jonathan age 3, and Jacob 5 months. And they are at an age that it really doesn't matter to them. Since our oldest son was born all I've wanted was a home to call ours that is big enough for all of us. Now that our family is complete we know exactly how much room we need and this house is well I can't say perfect because it's not exactly what I want but we can't afford exactly what I want, but it's about as close to perfect as we can afford right now. So I am hoping my dad my dad says yes and agrees to help us get this house. The payment on it will be about the same as the house we are in now, if not a little bit less. Jeremy's work has decided not to cut back on their overtime, so that will help too. And after my surgery I will begin full force to find a job even if it's just part time.

The house sits far enough back from the road not right up on the sidewalk like our house now does, with plenty of room for the kids to play

Pic 1 of the kitchen with fairly new cabinets and a dishwasher!!

Pic 2 of the kitchen plenty of room for my table, and the high chair. Plus a spot for the deep freeze Jeremy wants to buy.
