Heinz Field Gold lot 2 Parking Lot was a beautiful place to be Thursday morning at 11AM.  The crisp morning had given way to an Indian summer day.  The smell of smoke from the jalapeño brats that were smoking on the grill filled nostrils all over the lot. Peoples chest where wet from the beer they had shotgunned, providing a cooling reprieve from the heat that was rising from the pavement.

Long before kickoff, the intoxicating aroma of kielbasa and onions and burgers on the grill will perfume the afternoon air, driving the poor souls who are merely attending the game instead of tailgating before it into a hunger craze. Many tailgaters will set out gourmet buffets, sating those pre-game munchies with a delicious smörgåsbord of hot and spicy (barbecued ribs and wings), sweet (brownies and cookies), tangy (sweet-and-sour meatballs) and just plain yummy (is there anything better than a brat on a roll with grilled Vidalias and peppers?)

All this and a nail biting game spells heart attack.

Looking around and listening.  Despite the seemingly idyllic conditions for an early football game, You would love what you where seeing and hearing.  Bodies cloaked in steelers colors seemed to surround the big camper tailgate. 

Pittsburgh steelers where favored by 5½ points. Last year Tennessee Titans were 13-3 best in the NFL That did not look particularly good for the steelers. But the Steelers were at home. It turned out to be a heart attack game steelers won 13-10.

it was a gut clenching game. and so have all the steelers game so far if this keeps up i can't see the Pittsburgh steelers going any where this year. They will be real lucky if they get a wild card game. What do i mean when i say heart ( attacks football ).
