Are you CONFUSED about your GENDER?

Are you CONFUSED about your GENDER?

Are you CONFUSED about the GENDER of others?

Are you having trouble figuring out whether or not you were born a woman or a man?

Do you have trouble trying to figure out how your sexual organs work -- what should fit where?  What's the RIGHT way the anatomy of the body works?

Are you unsure about your sexual preference?

Are you wondering about the pitch of your voice -- should it be HIGH; should it be low?

If you are a man, do you feel a desire to dress like a woman?

If you are a woman, do you feel the desire to dress like a man?

Do you KNOW the difference between the two sexes?

Were you abused in youth and have been messed up ever since?

Or are you CONFUSED?

TELL US ABOUT IT . . .

okay then
well I do like to wear mens t shirts sometimes.
I am however very sure of the "where things go" part
as as far as the sexual preference part goes, yes I do prefer it and often .

Nope, not confused.
But, oddly enough, I get plenty of under the chin hair! I have to shave every day, practically. It really stinks.
Leo Lemmer Oct 12, 2009, 7:55pm EDT
I do not understand why more women do not shave. Why not-- no one knows?

Hair removal is rather inexpensive.
René Allen Oct 14, 2009, 10:39pm EDT
Tweezers are inexpensive too Leo ~ L O L.

Glad you're not confused Angela!

Only when I am down on all fours, feeling the sting of the cat-o-nine-tails as Kelly exits giggling and then Ms Purrr walks in wearing THAT thing.................

LOL

Sweet Rene,
I would really like to hear what you think of my little tribute to Kelly. Do you have a moment?

Quadrinity

:+)
René Allen Oct 15, 2009, 11:08pm EDT
I think that you are a good writer Robert. I found the piece well written, and also a little disturbing on another level ~ you'll SEE my comments. Come back and let me know more about "Quadrinity".
Robert - just a simple man - B. Oct 16, 2009, 12:20am EDT
Not much else to say. The trinity is all-maculine or always seem to be portrayed that way. I wanted to add a fourth deity to the Christian Godhead, one that spoke for women and I thought, briefly, who on Gather would be a good fit. I chose Kelly solely based upon the poem she published yesterday and the fact that she's a good friend I knew she would be okay with it. But the eternal kelly of the poem is a spokesperson for women on a heavenly scale.

And all of this was thought up, analyzed and written during the time it took me to eat a bowl of cereal. Now, I guess I'll go check out your comment. Thanks.

BTW, being Christian, I realize that Quadrinity is all muse.
Robert - just a simple man - B. Oct 16, 2009, 12:21am EDT
and please, being Christian has nothing to do with being perfect. perfection is a concept not a reality.
René Allen Oct 16, 2009, 8:03pm EDT
Ah ~ Thanks for explaining "Quadrinity" further Robert.

If Kelly is a spokesperson for women on a heavenly scale in your eyes, she must be one AWESOME and BLESSED woman.

You are a dear friend Robert ~ BIG HUGS for taking the time to share your friendship with so many of us Gatherites ~ You're a JEWEL!

Korak 257 Oct 12, 2009, 6:22pm EDT
Hi,
i am not confused but...I have had my friends say i was a P...y [cat] for not kicking someone's butt. Or a women saying I was not a man for going to get her some weed while two babies cried being hungry. Through my life trying to be good I have been called both sexes or not being accepted by either gender. So I wondered what if I am not either. When Busing happened in the early 60s i welcomed the new students to our all white school being labled again. So I am used to being pushed from this crowd or that crowd. I am a man. I feel like a real man. But i love all things like a woman. oh , I dress like a man though.
Robert - just a simple man - B. Oct 12, 2009, 8:30pm EDT
WOW, I think you're a man of both integrity and honesty and you know right and wrong and can take the criticism when wrong. I hope you can accept this praise, when you are right and you do fall on the side of right here.

My friend.
Korak 257 Oct 12, 2009, 8:46pm EDT
Thank you..I have been alone too long ..huh ? Thank You again .
René Allen Oct 15, 2009, 9:52pm EDT
I agree with Robert on what he's said Korak. Thank you very much for responding to this. You're always a bright light in a sometimes dim place at times -- both of you...

HUGS to you both!
Korak 257 Oct 15, 2009, 10:07pm EDT
So nice of you to say so...I try to look at both sides of a subject. Sometimes taken one side feeling better on the other. I think being objective is good especially when one feels both sides..I think what i said sounds right. I believe education helped me their in my life.
This here is an easy one for me to answer because one has to try to be a better person ...I never did follow the crowd's yells . Someone is always in need in life. We simply have to just open our eyes...simple fix.
The only question is who cares if I take the role of a man in life as long as I care like a women.
Korak 257 Oct 15, 2009, 10:10pm EDT
Robert is a good man..i know i am a good man also not having to prove it.
Unless the situation arises...for now i will be the guy that opens that door for you.
René Allen Oct 15, 2009, 11:13pm EDT
I love what you've said above Korak ~ "Someone is always in need in life. We simply have to just open our eyes...simple fix."

And, having a man open the door is always very nice.

HUGS ~
Your Friend,
Rene
Korak 257 Oct 15, 2009, 11:31pm EDT
Let me explain because this is a important thing to me..I do this everywhere I go.. To seeing an old man buying lumber in lowe's . I wait outside ..what is a couple minutes. he has no one so I offer to load with him saying, I can not pay you. I reply back ,Its ok. SIMPLE..That man i know sat at his dinner table telling his wife this good deed making him and her feel good.
I am not bragging just want you and everyone else know what you are missing out on..

I drove up to a winn dixie grocery store before they were going to close.
an elderly black man in his late 60s or early 70s pulled up beside me with us both rushing in. When I made it to the cashier he was up front with only a half gallon of icecream. he was complaining that it was 2 for 5 dollars with 5 dollars in his hand,,GOD BLESS HIM . Then he placed the icecream downward walking off to check the paper with specials in it. NOW , this man got in his car driving here all the way for only this icecream .
I asked the cashier ,That I will pay for it. I grabbed it walking out of line to hand it to him with him saying,no. I said that I was brought up to respect my elders and to please take this as a gift. He looked at me and started crying.
When I turned to walk back every eye was on me..so I spoke respect your elders out loud...less than 3 dollars I touch an old grayed headed man and everyone in that store....3 dollars...come on..that is so kool. I have so many good stories to tell....I love it but you have to pay attention because they are out there.
René Allen Oct 18, 2009, 11:39am EDT
Hi Korak ~ Good Deeds are Good Deeds no matter the race of a person. Not at all detracting from what you said, I just noticed that you mentioned the race of the second man, but not the 1st man.

One thing that people should pay attention to is the mention of race. What has race got to do with "humanity"?

Murderers are murders no matter the race, and people who need ASSISTANCE or HELP are in need of ASSISTANCE or HELP no matter the race.

I'm glad you have a "helpful" and "giving" heart. Good stories like those you just told are always nice to hear.

HUGS to YOU for all the GOOD things that you do!
Korak 257 Oct 18, 2009, 11:53am EDT
yes,,but in the same story ,I mentioned again him as an old man without pointing out race....But he was a man that looked weary and had done his time making me care even more..And RACE...I will be 54..Knowing of struggles maybe in the back of my mind. But anyone older than me RACE wise was treated and being delt very poorly..I feel if one that old bearing no hard feelings deserve my respect more so than any other..We talk about rasism..these kids or even my time should be mad if someone is wrong ..no color involved. But one from the other generation can be mad..I will acept it with love knowing what he or she had to go through..YOU SEE...I love all men and women ,thus doing so we must search where there journeys lead them.I am all kool to help any race. Sometimes I love ( selfish me..I am human) to help the ones who had be done wrongly or unjustly...just because of the period they lived...I have to be honest...He was a good man and showed wear of life. When we get that old our mind is not the same with him fussing over icecream when he had 5 dollars in his hand...GOD bless him...that made me love to help even more..so I can honestly say it was not about color but of many things.
Korak 257 Oct 18, 2009, 11:58am EDT
he drove all that way for icecream....not to get it with money in hand...any color...I would do the same ...He just happen to be black.african american or whatever...he was old. GOD bless him.
Korak 257 Oct 18, 2009, 12:00pm EDT
OH, I said walking back in...respect your elders....nothing to do with color.
Now if i said something to the effect walking in about color..then i would feel bad....He was my elder. sorry if I offended you..I meant no harm.
René Allen Oct 19, 2009, 5:58pm EDT
Hi Korak ~ Bless your heart, no, you did not offend me. I was just contemplating the mention of his color of skin, and it reminded me of how the NEWS always mentions the race of a Murderer, or someone who has done a crime (primarily only if they are black). You rarely SEE a white male or white female plastered all over the television screen saying that they did something wrong with the volume increased on their race. That's why I made that comment about it matters not the race of a person who needs help...or who does a crime...

I understand what you mean. However, we all know that there are people of different races who have experienced hardships in different ways -- some of which we may never experience nor truly know the "feeling" associated with it. My point being that WE are ALL HUMAN, and WE ALL need to ACT like it. Just like you have described above. Treat each other right. Be willing to do for others, just as we would like to have someone do for us.

DIGNITY sometimes walks in the skin of pity, inside the marrow of the bones of a pauper is etched ROYALTY ~ Of these two things I shall not forget.

And what you've shared with us about Our Elders is VERY IMPORTANT. There is such a lack of respect for those who have aged -- who have LIVED -- who have EXPERIENCED -- and WHO KNOW of things WE may never learn of ~ especially when WE don't take the time to LEARN from them.

Pity on us if WE walk in ignorance of the blind woman who simply seeks JUSTICE.
Korak 257 Oct 19, 2009, 6:19pm EDT
Everything you said is well put..I was not offended just scared . I am new to this internet not knowing at times what to say..biting my word off to fall into an empty basket. The Dignity write is so kool..I will remember that one.
That last paragraph shows me alot of who you are , Renee. You see I feel that way very strongly. Their time on earth is not recorded except in our minds when spoke too ,by listening to there stories . One to be a good humanbeing must except their own flaws and those of others....Color...aggugh !..I want to scream out...NO COLOR ! I know that this may sound stupid but I do not understand why people hate each other over the color of there skin . It makes no sense when their is so much to put that anger to or change . Not color....So when I write trying to be very careful on how people perceive my writing. But when the event that I write takes place...I remember the old white hairs, a man of color, once tall with arms diminishing through age of the passing through time...He is my elder.
I will be the one to stand before all no matter where and say that he is my brother.

These old people will pass with the knowledge of days long passed with us knowing nothing of what they saw .felt or seen. They being old would love the company with the chance to speak....thus making them one more time in life to feel...IMPORTANT. And is that not good .
i
René Allen Oct 20, 2009, 12:35am EDT
Hey Korak ~ I think that you should never be afraid to VOICE yourself ~ ever. No matter what anyone says about your words (including me), they are your heart~felt words and you own them. They speak to people who may never say a word back to you...so write, always write. The "gift" of the pen ~ or keyboard is not to be taken lightly. There is an audience for every writing. Shall we not read because all the writers become scared of feedback? I dare say NO. KEEP WRITING. And then, write some more ~ SMILES> perfection is unavoidable.

I know you have a GOOD HEART, and of that there is no doubt in my mind. Toss my words to you out that do not make you feel good about what you wrote, because that was not my intent.

Many times I get feedback that is off~track from the intent of my writing. I don't take it to heart. I wonder at it, re~read what I wrote, and try to understand how a person could come to a place where I didn't intend that they go. But, I know that I cannot stop writing as the spirit moves, because that is the only way in which to write ~ in my most humble opinion.

It is GOOD ~ VERY GOOD ~ in response to your last paragraph above.
Korak 257 Oct 20, 2009, 4:43am EDT
Renee,
This is going to be freaky...because now with this comment..I am going to voice something ..to all GATHER...I hope you read it and to keep it up.
You see I work for GOD in areas the normal person does not walk...I walk among bad men. I thought first coming here that GOD gave me a break, a vacation of sorts. I want to write fiction but now ,I am doing the KORAK 123456789 series for all to see who is this Korak guy ..but know GOD has pressed upon me a job..it was work again..so my next post is probably going to lose my small fan base on what I am going to write....you confirmed that here. I was thinking about it...talk to someone here who left once to return because of the hell....now your write...Well I made up my mind to write this post to Gather , checking to see what you just wrote....lol
GOD moves in strange ways.
René Allen Oct 20, 2009, 5:45pm EDT
I'm smiling Korak ~ You'll do just what God intended that you do ~ side~tracking and all. Your vacations will always take you right back to where you left off. Can't wait to SEE this KORAK 123456789 SERIES on the SCREEN ~ COMPUTER SCREEN and OTHERWISE. ~ L O L ~ hear that voice whispering ~ write that down? Write that down...
Korak 257 Oct 20, 2009, 6:08pm EDT
Renee ,The strange part is that it is your voice , mind's voice ..only not your thoughts...
Sometimes you do not know at all. i have pushed the envelope to where the mind's voice become harsh and strong finding myself in a check out line saying; ''WHAT?"' So I sometimes do not know but I have written some things here that made me look strange already so I figured to share many of GOD"S gifts with you..IT IS FOR ALL, you know. I found myself pushing my world aside to examine these gifts. Where most men and women could not, bills ,the kids are sick and so on....I found a journey...A Flow out here in this world...Wanting to scream out...Does anyone else sees this but me ?
I am just a man...that is all.
In telling of these things may send me to a deep corner in a hospital for professing GOD's mighty power..Then so be it !
My inner circle have seen these miracles of GOD....and my journey through life touching one with leaving behind a simple thought...THERE IS A GOD !
I say if one writes mean things about GOD...be nice....Let GOD to his job...we scare so many away by pushing or shoving GOD. So yes I will bare my soul ..I have said some embarrassing things already about me...I must be true to the story written. KORAK......
If you acept these stories or not...I bet you all will remember the day KORAK was here...I am human you know . I love helping all !

KORAK..1234567 are all true. so when you find time to rest know that all of GOD's children have this power. I am but a man.

René Allen Oct 22, 2009, 7:28pm EDT
Hi Korak ~ I'm glad that you are continuing to add more here. Let's talk about what you've brought up, starting with this . . .

"The strange part is that it is your voice , mind's voice ..only not your thoughts...

Sometimes you do not know at all. i have pushed the envelope to where the mind's voice become harsh and strong finding myself in a check out line saying; ''WHAT?"' ~ Korak 257

Are you talking about ONLY the "mind's voice", or are you also inserting "God's Voice" in the picture. God speaks AUDIBLY.

Just let me know the distinction in the Voice that you are talking about throughout the box above Korak.
Korak 257 Oct 22, 2009, 7:42pm EDT
No but I am working on that part now ..I am trying to explain it better. My English of write is very poorTo say this is ..It is my voice in my head. Here is an example... I was working on a friends alarm system using my fathers sodering gun to melt some contacts. I was thinking of how young i was watching my father when the sodering gun just simply quit, broke. I thought is this broke when the voice ,,my mind's voice said, (very hashly and hard and loud ) Yeah, it is broke just like your father ! I said like I always do..WHAT? So I called home to have found that they took my fther to the hospits 2 minutes ago. The same time the gun broke. He would never return home with us burying him .

this gift is one in my next read....oh, I kept the sodering gun for a keepsake.
One day I plugged it in having it work normally.
René Allen Oct 22, 2009, 11:29pm EDT
Korak ~ This is something to think on. What you are experiencing is shifting with time. The voice in your head (as you have described it) sounds like the voice of your Guardian Angel.

Some would say that the voice you are hearing is your Higher "self".

However, I have to say that you KNOW the voice yourself on some level. You can KNOW the voice for certain if you truly seek to KNOW the Answer...

Have you prayed and asked God what voice you are hearing?

I'm sorry to hear about what happened with your father. Since the soldering gun is now working normally ~ It would lead one to believe that your father is working normally on another level of life. HUGS & Smiles.

What you described also sounds like something here in Gatherland that someone described, but in a very different way. It was several different voices ~ somewhat like talking to a group of people that you can not see, but all the same can hear. I found the description of that person's experience very interesting. I can't say that I have ever experienced anything like it ~ lol ~ but all the same, it was a fascinating read.

Then, there is such a thing as talking with and to your "self". Your inner being. This can happen in silence, or out loud.

Since you have described it as, "It is my voice in my head" ~ Korak

I'm wondering if it is your thought process relaying itself to bring you to a place within to receive something that you have been seeking in your heart?

I can't wait until you come back to tell us more!
Korak 257 Oct 22, 2009, 11:35pm EDT
i am writing it now...I know things that I should have no way of knowing,,,it is different but it will be up tomorrow morning...angel thing..i will write about how i almost died several times to be saved.....that is the next one...
Korak 257 Oct 22, 2009, 11:38pm EDT
I believe when the sodering gun broke whatever was telling me did this to catch my attention...my thought were on the gun about my father .
I realy do not know...there is so much more.
René Allen Oct 24, 2009, 11:38pm EDT
Well Korak, I can't wait to READ what you've experienced in more detail. It sounds very fascinating on many levels. The NDE is one area that many would like to hear more of your thoughts on.

Your "soldering gun" experience was really rather 'chilling'. I know there has to be much more as you've just said. I'm so glad that you've contributed to this discussion.
Korak 257 Oct 25, 2009, 1:32am EDT
I just finished KORAK 4...the knowing...i have 1 2 3 and now 4
Tonight i will be on writing 5...Please read..you may find a sa d story but one of a kind heart helping those that GOD cannot reach...
It would be best to start at 1 and follow through to 4 though.
René Allen Oct 27, 2009, 5:40am EDT
Hi Korak ~ I've been reading! How fascinating ~ the accounts you write about are very interesting. I hope you keep writing, and interact with others in the process. I think that your stories will help others.
Korak 257 Oct 27, 2009, 7:48am EDT
If one can see this FLOW in life then it will be worth it.Every story collectively will show GOD's flow....I hope , if not ,GOD has some of us working the dark'en corners of evil...or to stand up for the weak.My body is getting old and my speed ,reflexs falter. My body aches from bkoken bones but I still move for GOD .
René Allen Oct 27, 2009, 6:43pm EDT
AMEN Korak ~ Amen.

No gender issue confusion with me but I admit to sometimes seeing other people and wondering if they are male or female.
René Allen Oct 15, 2009, 9:56pm EDT
You know Linda T. ~ I started having the same issues with trying to figure out the gender of others when I looked at them. It was like I went into La~La Land trying to figure it out. It was almost like I could hear twilight zone music playing as I looked at them. I know what you mean.

Thanks so much for responding.

Hugs to you both ~ Elizabeth and Yvonne. I'm glad you both are not confused. I can understand putting ISSUES in the right perspective Yvonne. GOOD POINT!

There are some people, however, who are very, very confused. I've spoken to a few people like this, and it very sad. Their confusion stems from past incidences in their life that they had no control over. And, now as ADULTS, they are dealing with those unsought after results.

Thank you both for responding!

When I was younger, and thinner - it was obvious to me that I was a man. But at 50, I really can't see 'down there' (don't want to anymore either!) and it looks like I've grown a small pair of breasts.

So I can't prove that I'm still a man, but I'm pretty sure.

Does that count for confusion?
René Allen Oct 16, 2009, 6:03pm EDT
If you could SEE my face d g. ~ ahahah! Now how very honest of heart and FUNNY that is. Confusion -- no. Blessings to you ~ multiplied!

I do hope that you will continue to SEE yourself as "young" as your heart is...And that's worth a whole lot of CLARITY.

Rene

Glome . . . Oct 16, 2009, 11:49pm EDT
Well there you go Fred ... I went to a Catholic church in third grade and have been tempted to dress like a woman all my life. Goes to show it definitely depends on where you hang out in third grade :)
Glome . . . Oct 17, 2009, 12:00am EDT
PS What is all this about anyway? I'm confused.
René Allen Oct 18, 2009, 2:26pm EDT
Ahahah ~ Glome ~ You crack me up, and you know you have been MISSED around here!

It seems that there is a lot of C O N F U S I O N going on these days. I hope that cats and dogs don't forget who they really are...lord knows we'll really have a mess on our hands then. They're already putting on clothes you know ~ l o l.

You asked the question, "What is all this about anyway?" ~ CONFUSED?...
Don't be. {I think that is a line in a commercial} ... it sounded rather good to insert here ~ ahah!

This is about people being confused about a number of things concerning "gender". This is simply a sampling of the "confusion level" of the people with regard to gender...

WE really do not want to bring the Catholic Church into this gender conversation, because WE already know that they have a very DEEP LEVEL of CONFUSION going on. The best that WE can do with regard to the Catholic Church is keep our children away from there.

Glad you dropped in on this discussion Glome!

I'm smiling Otelia about your last line concerning the boxer shorts. Who would have thought that they'd come out with boxer shorts for women ~ I think that they use to have such a thing in the Good Ol Days. Now, I know any woman who could come up with some BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED boxer shorts for women will really get over monetarily! What do you think? ~ l o l.

Thanks so much for contributing to this discussion Otelia ~ And, I'm so glad that you are not confused. WHEW! Wiping forehead ~ I was truly beginning to think that I was living on a "BALL of CONFUSION" ~ ahahahh! ~ not so sure that feeling has been totally erased though -- still polling the people . . .

Spartan * Oct 22, 2009, 6:57pm EDT
Personally, No. But, I am convinced this is the reason for an awful lot of teenage suicides each year!
René Allen Oct 22, 2009, 11:47pm EDT
You know Spartan ~ I'm glad you came in on this discussion. What you have brought up is a very SERIOUS matter that has not been focused on in the Media as much as it should be. I'm sure that the numbers are staggering.

Our young people are watching things on television that I find absolutely SHOCKING! And REPULSIVE. And, definitely CONFUSING to a young person (and a young mind) who is just coming into their own personal understanding of their sexuality.

Honestly, seeing men with makeup and eyelashes, high-heels, and boobs makes me wonder if I am in the land of Sodom and Gomorrah. Some cities in the U.S. being worst than others. I was taken aback 20 years ago when I first saw such things in the LA area, and I am MORE SHOCKED today to SEE it.

Vulgarity is often overlooked, but it is the seed that lays the ground for even deeper vulgarity. And definitely CONFUSION. If you pay attention to any person who has a very vulgar mouth, you will find their life is much the same.

Messing up young minds . . . it is a dark spirit from a demonic place seeking to destroy all that is good and true and of innocence and purity.

I am glad that I am not a young person in this day and age. They have to worry about their life being taken over something trivial when going to school trying to do the right thing and get an education. There are teachers who have no regard for the age of students, having no morals whatsoever ~ sleeping with them ~ fathering children by them ~ and on and on.

CONCERNED ~ You've said it Spartan. WE should ALL BE CONCERNED.
René Allen Oct 22, 2009, 11:53pm EDT
... which leads me to bring up something else for all of us to think on Spartan...

Where are all of the ADULTS that the young people can look up to for WISDOM, ADVICE, COMMON SENSE, LEADING, KNOWLEDGE ?

Those ADULTS that can show a young person the RIGHT WAY to live life.
Those ADULTS that have a life that is worthy of admiration by a young person, and gives them something to look forward to. . .

Some INSPIRATION ~ Some HOPE.

Looking for a SHOW of HANDS for those who are not in dysfunctional relationships, living DYSFUNCTIONAL LIVES . . .

. . . this may take a while . . .
Spartan * Oct 24, 2009, 11:53pm EDT
You might want to check out the DVD titled "For the Bible Tells Me So". It opened MY eyes to a lot of things I never considered before.

I don't think any of this is "new". It's just getting more publicity. I had a female Drama teacher in High School back in 1967 who shared pot with and slept with numerous male students. I personally dated my female Senior English Intern. Again...I don't think there is anything "new" out there. People are just being more open, or getting caught more often. I DO know that 5 of my daughter's High School classmates committed suicide within two weeks of graduation.
René Allen Oct 27, 2009, 5:48am EDT
I'll check out the DVD you mentioned here Spartan.

You're right about none of this being "new".

It is still SHOCKING to hear what you've added in above ~ "I DO know that 5 of my daughter's High School classmates committed suicide within two weeks of graduation." ~ Spartan

That is so SAD, and I am so sorry to hear this. It is a growing problem, and I do hope that more ATTENTION is called to it.

I agree with spartan. I couldn't imagine being confused and the pain some go through 'cause of not being sure.
René Allen Oct 24, 2009, 11:45pm EDT
Dawn ~ Don't you think that a person in a state of confusion and pain would somehow find someone to talk to about what they are going through? Or do you think that many suffer in silence moreso than not?

I'd like to think (and hope) that there are many places and people that a person can turn to for help with what they are going through (if they are in a state of confusion), although I'm sure it would not be easy in most cases.

I'd like to hear what you think and what others think that are joining in on this discussion ~ about the HELP that is available to those who may be confused when it comes to their gender.
