Tessy is an adventurous little girl who loves to get into trouble when she can. I know, how is Tessy any different from all other young children, or even older children? The answer is that she is no different. When Tessy’s mother goes to the gym, she asks Aunt Fran to baby sit Tessy. However, when Aunt Fran falls asleep, Tessy has a free path to creative destructiveness! She merely does many of the things a young child loves to do not realizing what damage or mess it could create for others. Tessy does a terrific job as she does art work on walls, uses other colorful things to get her own body colored the way she wants it to be, and even does some sabotage on her dolls and Aunt Fran. When Aunt Fran awakes she sees some of the mess and she enlists Tessy to help her get things cleaned the way things should look. You know not everything can be undone in a short time before Tessy’s mother comes in the door.
The great thing about this book is that certain proceeds from the sale of each copy of the book go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The author’s youngest daughter was born with Cystic Fibrosis encouraging her more to produce a quality product that would assist in the research of this dreaded disease.
