A looming constitutional crisis now hangs over the Mojave National Preserve in California, and the stage is set for a constitutional battle at the U.S. Supreme Court.

If the Cross is a secular symbol then lots of Christians have been fooled. If it is a religious symbol then the First Amendment has been ignored again. Looks like we can't win.

This particular cross has been in place for 75 years, BEFORE the Federal Government bought the land.

Any and all Christian symbols will be removed, unfortunately. Our nation is no longer a Christian nation, sadly.

Was it a Christian nation when we had slavery? Was it a Christian nation when the Indians (native Americans) were robbed and murdered and their children taken away from them? Was it a Christian nation when the Americans of Japanese descent were thrown into concentration camps and their property seized? One suspects that the cross was only honoring some of the dead soldiers, not all.
