Dogs crouched under the deck
to stay dry while the birds
are on top of the trees just to see
The honkers seem to have all flown south
for the winter
No crows in sight, smart birds they are
Been snowing all day so far
forecast is only more snow
for the rest of the day
Not cold 34 or so all morning
35 now
All snow will melt soon
Tree leaves still yellow and green
haven’t all dropped yet
Fall clean-up not yet done
No wind at all
Garbage collection tomorrow
