I used to wonder why some people considered animals to have more rights than humans and why they seemed to be more compassionate about an animal's feelings than the feelings of a person. I always thought the animal rights activists were from the nimcompoop side of the pond. Because why would a person love an animal more than a person? Here's my conclusion.
Some humans are rotten to the core. They stink and are filled with hatred. They don't give a rat's ass about you or me or any other human. All some humans care about is themselves. There are backstabbers, slave-drivers, male chauvenistic communist pigs, spoiled rotten bitches, and the world is filled with all kinds of humans that want to hurt each other, torture each other, steal from each other, defame and ridicule each other and their lives seem to thrive on that.
But animals? Animals are not like that at all. Animals kill for survival or self-defense or because you smell like beef and cheese. But, not because you live in a better neighborhood or drive a nicer car. Animals are loyal and are not out to get you to prove they're better than you.
I don't consider myself to be an animal rights activist, but I will stand up for the defenseless and since animals can't speak human - then they need someone to speak for them.
I'll also say this - I don't think an animal's life is more important than a person's. For example; I don't think the family dog is more important than the child. There is something called "healthy balance" that should be practiced.
So, what do YOU think about animal's rights?

As a rule, all most animals require is food, a place to sleep and occaisonaly an animal of the other sex.
Unfortunately there are humans also who think that this is their only requiremnets.
As a human animal who steers clear of chauvenistic males, I am sorry to hear you are such. It must be difficult for you to be that way. If you do, in fact, return as a pig I feel and think you will probably be a Razorback. But, then again you could just be a cute, little potbellied pig. I've heard those make great inside pets and can even be litterbox trained.
Pigs are also great on a plate. I have a friend who used to eat pickled pig's feet because her dad did and she wanted to impress him by being brave enough to eat feet. She wouldn't dare eat them now, but she does enjoy bacon and pork loin - as do I, on occasion.
I understand both of the Davids comments completely.
However, yours is a little hard to swallow.
Thank you for your comment. :-)
Your apology is accepted and I'm glad you were thinking of something else.
Perhaps you're not so much a pig afterall - for I have never known of a pig having the ability to apologize. :-)
