I got up bright and early this morning and went to the flea market with my dad and grandmother. He got there too early as a lot of vendors were still setting up and it was freezing. I sat in the car with my grandmother until he got back then wandered back through. I found a game I'd been looking for a grabbed it (my first in several months) and found a table selling movies. I checked for scratches and any damage and Night at the Museum and Mirrors (been wanting to see it) for $2 each was a steal. Then...I got hit on with compliments...
I walked to one vendors table and a guy in his mid to late 20's passed by me and said I should spend some of my money on that vendor (something commonplace at flea markets). Well, he took a few steps and then stopped and turned around and looked at me and said, "You have a really pretty face. How have I not seen you before?"
Me: ....I don't live around here.
Guy: Oh, where do you live?
Me: Uh...college...I'm in college.
Guy: Oh. Well, my stand is over there, why don't you come over later and we can talk.
Me: .....
I need to remember one of these days to say "er...boyfriend!" No, I don't have one right now but I get enough sketchy guys (sorry...no offense to anyones but guys with tattoos all over them including their face aren't my type...and stuff like that makes me uncomfortable). I'm easily embarrassed too...I mean I'd rather/want to date then marry a guy friend rather than a stranger.
Afterwards, I went to my favorite vendor and bought plenty of books off them :) I got a couple for my personal library and 10 or so to trade on paperbackswap for cheap. They had a lot of manga, but nothing I needed. Oh, and I got two more Hardback copies for my harry Potter collection, just three more to go for the whole set! Plus I got some more books for me as the future teacher. My mom thinks I have too many though, whoops.
Afterwards we had lunch and while there I saw a girl who I was friends with in high school. I wasn't sure, and sat down and then just like in the movies or on tv, came up to me and said "I wasn't sure it was you, but it is you Rebecca!". I was surprised to see her and we talked for a few minutes. While talking, she asked if I had a facebook and if my name had changed..."if I had gotten married". I'm only 22...
After lunch, we did a little shopping and my grandmother got me some winter clothes (mine are starting to die...). I found some cute ones and then I made a grocery trip to target, got Coca pebbles (never tried them) and a gift for one of my best friends. I also looked at some things for christmas gifts, it'll be here before we know it, yikes!
Hm...this turned out very bloggish. So how has everyone been ,anything new in your world are you gearing up for the next three holiday filled months?

We went from there to the mall area so my hubby could find something he was looking for, then we went to Starbucks and I tried to find the last issue of Gourmet (The November issue) but they weren't selling it at Borders. They only had the October issue of Bon Appetit and the line was way too long.
So we came home and we ate dinner really early. Really early. We had no lunch so we had early dinner and I'm almost finished cleaning up for the night.
I am revving up for the holidays. First I've got my sons birthday this Friday (14) and then my anniversary 11/11 and then Thanksgiving. I just found 2 recipes that are possibilities for the side dishes and I have already bought 3 Christmas gifts. Got a few to go. Plus Channukah gifts for my hubby and son.
There is no such thing as too many books IMHO.
I tought my days of being hit on were over (don't go many places) but I was wrong. The whole situation was silly, but it did improve my ego. LOL!
Have a wonderful week.
