A few weeks ago, Allen and I went to Marianna to see the reenactment of "The Battle of Marianna". While there we had the opportunity to explore St Luke's Episcopal Church.

I was amazed by the history of the church and graveyard.

This is the actual bible that Major Nathan Cutler saved from the burning church.
The graves in the graveyard dated back to the 1800s, some were unreadable. Others were very unique.

The entrance to the church took me back in time.

However what was more captivating was the inside. My breath caught as I took in the beauty of this small church, from the simple wood to the extravagant stained glass.
