London: Few nurses in the UK have dropped their layers to pose for a 2010 calendar.

The women stripped to their underwears for 100% Real Nurses calendar priced at Â£8.99.

Lucinda Gittins, a 24-year-old home carer in County Durham, explained her reason for doing the deed.

"I wanted to prove you can still be sexy once you've had a baby," News of the World quoted her as saying.

Lianne Pendergast, a 20-year-old psychiatric nurse in Manchester, added, "I saw the ad and thought, 'Why not?'. It was a great experience."

Way to go, Nurses!!!

Have you ever seen the movie "Calendar Girls"? The Brits can handle this! Why are we such prudes?

It's a shame that they can't show the female Nurses without their undies and their soft side along with male Doctors without their clothes showing their hard side. Such as we are.
