The traditionally and culturally rich state Tamil Nadu is the 11th biggest state in India. It was once the domicile of four Tamil Kingdoms like Chola, Chera, Pandya, and Pallava. Their ruling era was known as the golden-age of Tamil Nadu during which period Art, Music as well as trade & agriculture attained its peak. Tamil Nadu is situated on the southern tip of the Indian peninsula, surrounded by the Bay of Bengal in the east, Indian Ocean in the south, the states of Kerala and Karnataka in the west, and Andhra Pradesh in the North. The language spoken here is Tamil. It is the sixth most densely inhabited state in the Indian Union and leading manufacturer of Agricultural products. Tamil Nadu is home for numerous Temples, Pilgrim Centres,Hill Resorts, Beaches Tourist spots and sanctuaries etc. Ooty, Kodaikanal and Yercaud are the three famous hill resorts in Tamil Nadu.
