I think getting rid of the bluring at the bottom was a good idea. I'll vote for the cropped one.

Great shot, Vivian! I vote for the cropped one. That's too much empty blue space in the lower right in the uncropped one, and the crop brings out the silhouette qualities more.

I still have a few 35 mm film cameras just because. There is nothing like the expansive ability of the digital. I can make posters and not loose any quality.

Hmmm I can't decide which I like more. For a large photo hanging on the wall probably the top one; for a smaller photo, the bottom one?

But you're right - the blue / black and the detail in the finch's feathers are beautiful!
