In my post: Back to Reality, Yeti brought me back to reality with what he said and so I've been thinking this over and I suppose what I put on Gather is selective, well... here's so make-up free pictures of me. Sometimes bare is best, especially before bed, I never wear any makeup to bed, I don't think it's good for the skin.

Do you ever wear make-up to bed??? Try not to.

I don't wear make up pretty, I've never learned to. but you don't look different to me with or without make up, you just look lighter here than your other pics.

I do not wear make up so much any more ....

Good idea. Tell her if she wants to age well, this is a no-no! The basics to skin care are: cleanse, tone, moisturize. ALWAYS use an SPF all year long. People think because it's cold outside they don't need an SPF. Hello......the sun shines all year round. Also exfoliating is recommended depending upon what skin type you have.

For oily skin, the less manipulation you do to it, the better. Otherwise it brings more oil to the surface of the skin. You can use products that help shed the top layer of the skin.

I never wear make-up at all ... I just have it and never use it ... its to much fuss and usually gets rubbed off anyway!

I rarely use make up because I am usually at home but even when I do wear it I am not especially good at making sure to wash it off. When I used to wear it more often I would buy those make up remover wipes. It made removing the make up not so much of a chore.

I never wear make-up at all except a little lip gloss or kiss proof lipstick when hubby and I go out. All my pics here are of me like that. My European hubby says women are much sexier without make-up.

Ive always heard that wearing makeup to bed is bad for your skin (and makes a mess on your pillowcase). You really do look lovely just as you are.

I have worn it to bed and I know the dangers. Although since I haven't been working I haven't even been wearing any at all. Trust me sister you have no worries with or without.

No, wearing makeup to bed is very bad for your skin,anyway I never really wore much makeup
unless I was going out somewhere special....I would rather someone like me for who I am that what I look like with makeup. My daughters seem to be like me, they only wear makeup when they are going out somewhere special. You look great without any makeup, no need for it, a natural beauty!!!

Most of the time I try and wash my face BUT some times I do wear my Bare Escentuals to bed. They even say in their stores that you can if you want. If I'm too pooped, I will keep it on. At least 5 out of 7 nights I do remove it.

No makeup to bed. For one thing, it's not good for your skin and the makeup stains your pillowcases and sheets.

Natural beauty is sometimes best.
