You're asking whether Moses' parents could distinguish an earthly hell (The Nile, where male infants were supposed to be drowned) from heaven?

Hi Ann!
Not distinguish between an earthly hell and Heaven, but between an earthly hell (the Nile and murder of male infants) and using that same Nile to
spare Moses who ultimately becomes a Biblical patriarch.

Moses mother gave him up to spare his life. He was found by Pharaohs sister, she needed a nursemaid, took him back to his real mother for nursing. He was the favorite in the Kingdom, then he lost favor .
