How Important IS: Wealth to YOU???

How Important IS being rich/wealthy:  having material possessions and lots of money to you?

Honestly I think it's important to strive to have the material things which will bring you happiness, such as having a cell phone for convenience or a computer for recreation, etc. At the same time, I think too much is wasteful but having a nice cushion of money to sit on is wonderful. One less thing to worry about.

Or are you completely turned off by people's obsession with material possessions today? Keep in mind that you are typing away on a material possession.

I'm not terribly materialistic. "Things" aren't necessary to be happy, as far as I'm concerned. As long as the bills are paid and there is food on the table with enough left over for a few extras, is all I ask for. There is more important criteria for my happiness.

Having a cushion is nice it helps you feel a little free. As far a possessions I am happier without, when they say more money more problems its true.

I'm very materialistic BUT wealth is still not a big deal to me. Yes, I'm not lying that it wouldn't be nice to have a lot of money BUT it isn't that important to me. I'd rather have a good family life and enough money to enjoy myself once in awhile.

I know that having things isn't that important. I realize that. I'm still happier with my stuff than without it. I DO get rid of stuff here-and-there (just got rid of a ton of stuff last weekend) but I adore the high of going shopping.

I dream of having loads of money, but I would be perfectly happy if I just had enough so that I didn't have to worry about paying the bills and could could have a nice home and a few splurges.

I could care less how much money someone has, however if they haven't got family, they're dirt poor to me.

I'm the type of person who as long as the bills are paid, a roof over my head and a running vehicle, I'm happy. I do have a few things that make me happy, but they aren't new by any means. My computer is roughly 5 years old, and my cell is a little over 2 years. My stero system is in the neighborhood of 17 years old, but plays great. These are my toys and I'm happy with them.

Health for my family is what I would strive for. I like nice things but they do not have to cost lots of money, just things that the whole family can enjoy. Bills paid, roof over our heads, food in the frig, car that runs good to get us where we need to go, and a little to help share with some less unfortunate & the church. That is just what we really need for all my family to be healthy & then we have it all.

Honestly, if someone was to give me free of charge a big chunk of money I would take it and run. Then I would wonder what to do with it. I hate shopping for anything.

I am only concerned with being comfortable. I am much more interested in being happy, healthy, and living a quality life with my loved ones and friends.

i would love to have money.
we're soooooo broke.
i want money so we can get our own place and start a family!
and for school, of course.
but i'm HOPING TO GOD that i get that financial aid to go through.
argh.
anyway, i've always loved money.
my grandma had a nice wad after my grandpa died and i was spoiled rotten.
but then she spent it way too fast and we were poor lol.
that sucked.
not dirt poor like i was before my mom died, but we couldn't go out and spend our money freely anymore.

WEALTH!
I am very wealthy ,
I have friends and family that love me.
That is a wealthy as I need to be because the goverment says I can live on $365.00 a month.
Yeah for me.
LOL!
As long as I can laugh I will make it.

I have my eye sight
I have my feet to walk on
I have my hands to type with
I have my mouth to talk , taste,eat, kiss
I have my hearing to hear Larry say I love You.
I have my son, grandson, whole family to say I love you.
I have my Doxies who give unconditional love.
I have my Disability Check & Medicare for my needs.
I have a roof over my head, a place to rest my weary body.
I have my faith.
I have my God/Jesus
I have my Gather friends what more would I want.

I am already rich because I can buy everything (material) that I want. Of course my wants are quite cheap so I really don't need much income at all to feel rich. That's one big advantage of being born into a poor family and growing up poor. After that being middle class feels like wealth.

Family wealth is best. Having a loving, kind and caring family. Monetary wealth would be nice too. That way I could buy my husband his car. He has done so much for us and never asks for anything and he keeps doing it.

If all my bills are payed & all my family are doing fine I'm content.It Would be nice to win the lottery so I could do for others in there time of need, But I think money causes more unhappiness than happiness.

I'm not financially rich, never have been so I guess the big guy dooesn't want me to know how it feels but I AM rich with love and I am happy(most of the time).
