Last year we went to Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort in Utica, IL we rented a home to stay in. My sister and her kids, my mom, my two young adult twin nieces, and my husband, my kids and myself all stayed in the house. We split the cost of the house between us. We stayed for 3 nighst and it cost us $1500 but split three ways it was not too bad. That may sound like a lot but once we got there we didn't have to spend any money on entertainment.
The resort has its own indoor ammusement park and indoor water park there is also mini golf and bago guests get to do all of these things for no additional charge. The draw to Utica is Starved Rock national park the park is of course free to enter as well. So all we had to pay for after we got there was food and since our home had a full kitchen you can bring your own food if you like.
I had meant to post these pictures last year but my pictures were misplaced for a while but we recently recovered them.

This is the great room. It had two seperate seating areas. Both of these couches folded out in to beds.

The kitchesn and the big dining table next to it.

Then entry way. sorry for the clothing mess. Guess we should no have taken the picture after someone was searching for something in their suitcase.

One of the bedrooms

The Kid's room. You could easily sleep 5 kids in this room.

The other bedroom had two full beds.

Fireplace in the downstairs bedroom

Jacuzzi tub in the down stairs bedroom.

Couch in downstairs bedroom.
There were also 4 bathrooms and a full laundry room. I don't know why but I didn't take any pictures of the outside of the house. The houses are full sized houses but they are attached like town houses.
They also have regular rooms there in the resort and small town homes to rent. This house was the most expensive rental but it can hold a lot of people. Just the bedrooms alone can hold 11 people and the pull out couches can hold another 4 more.
If you go there I recommend bringing some easy to cook food with you. There are a couple of bar/restaurants in town, and the resort has a restaurant, pizza place and ice cream stand, and if you drive about 10 to 15 minutes there is a McDonalds, but there are not a lot of sit down restaurants around we had to drive to the next town to go to a sit down restaurant.
