The North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) says it's "goal is to end the oppression of men and boys who have mutually consensual relationships" and one of the group's main arguments is that age of consent laws criminalize sexual relationships between adults and minors and wants these laws abolished.
In 2001, an undercover FBI agent joined the NAMBLA to see exactly what the group was about. He says he paid $35, was sent information but not allowed to attend any meetings until he'd been a member for 3 years and was sponsored by an active member. After the 3 years, he was invited to meetings.
At those meetings (secretly filmed), he says he never once heard talk of abolishing laws but instead only talk of how and where to meet minors and how to "groom a boy". The members also spoke about how it was alright to perform oral sex on a 18month old baby because it was just causing the baby pleasure. After these meetings and more law enforcement infiltration, NAMBLA has undergone some extreme changes in the way they operate.
So what do you know about NAMBLA and do you think it's a legitimate group with legitimate causes?

i DOUBT IT WILL FLT IN california.
That's sickening to think anyone could want to do sexual things to babies.
The percentage of gay pedophiles is slightly less than the percentage of straight ones.
Nambla membership ... might be only for the most brave or desperate (or both). Brave because if you are a member of something you can be tracked more easily (eventually); you may be more likely to be tracked because of it.
Desperate ... well, in a group it's easier to figure out strategies, what works what doesn't work; how to approach a child "safely" ... 2 heads (or 2200 hundred heads if you will) is better than 1. But, just because they don't belong to nambla doesn't mean there aren't others who absolutely agree with and admire and/or support those who do. Like possiblyHarry Hay (scroll down to "The Real Harry Hay").
Having sex with post puberty kids who are below the age of consent is a different thing. It's still child abuse.
the fact that they have 'changed the ways they operate' just makes me belive that they are being more secretive.
everyone please watchout for your kids in the public places that kids play. even chuck e cheese and the park arent safe to leave kids unattended. dont let your kids spend the night with just anyone and have the talk about appropriate and inappropriate touching.
And to have "secret underground meetings" should throw up the biggest red flag ever!
N.A.M.B.L.A. has it’s origins, within the homosexual community. It started, with the support and promotion of gays and lesbians,...
This page gives us this:
History
NAMBLA emerged from the tumultuous political atmosphere of the 1970s, particularly from the leftist wing of the Gay Liberation movement which followed the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City. Although discussion of gay adult-minor sex did take place, gay rights groups immediately following the Stonewall Riot were more concerned with issues of police harassment, nondiscrimination in employment, health care and other areas.
And this:
The ILGA controversy
The case of ILGA illustrates this opposition. In 1993, the International Lesbian and Gay Association, of which NAMBLA had been a member for a decade, achieved United Nations consultative status.
And this:
1990s
In 1994 the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) adopted a "Position Statement Regarding NAMBLA" saying GLAAD "deplores the North American Man Boy Love Association's (NAMBLA) goals
And this:
The court documents also shed light on some of NAMBLA's activities, including that:
:"NAMBLA was established as an unincorporated association in 1978 to encourage public acceptance of consensual sexual relationships between men and boys.

in my opinion, nambla has nothing to do with being gay. its the fact they want to be with boys, and thats not okay.
the fact that they have 'changed the ways they operate' just makes me belive that they are being more secretive.
everyone please watchout for your kids in the public places that kids play. even chuck e cheese and the park arent safe to leave kids unattended. dont let your kids spend the night with just anyone and have the talk about appropriate and inappropriate touching.
Think perhaps that will be their NEXT card to play?
THAT is insanity!
