When will the people of the USA begin holding them culpable for the results of their hate-filled and fear-mongering rhetoric?

In recent days, both Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh have suggested that the H1N1 flu vaccine may be unsafe and questioned the Obama administration's recommendation that Americans get vaccinated, with Limbaugh asserting that "you'll be healthier" if you don't believe what the government says and Beck suggesting that the vaccine may be "deadly."

Beck: "You don't know if this is gonna cause neurological damage
Limbaugh: "You'll be healthier" if you don't listen to the government

Beck suggests government will say "everybody" has to take the flu shot, may "line up" people to get mandatory flu shot.

A third of U.S. parents oppose swine flu vaccine
The AP poll found that 38 percent of parents said they were unlikely to give permission for their kids to be vaccinated at school. The AP poll, conducted Oct. 1-5, found 72 percent of those surveyed are worried about side effects, although more than half say that wouldn't stop them from getting the vaccine to protect their kids from the new flu.
Children are the main spreaders of infectious disease, and if large numbers are coming down with swine flu, there are ripple effects for everyone else.

Each citizen, parent should decide how best they can protect themselves and their loved ones from this illness. Base those decisions on the best available reliable information. I believe any National spokesperson espousing unfounded dangers, hyperbolic rhetoric meant to sway the populations opinion should also carry the caveat that the same people should be held responsible for their actions if/when whole sections of the population become gravely ill or die due to the bad advice offered by these talking-heads.
Then again, this may present an opportunity for society to rid itself of the really stupid among us since it is those who are following both Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh's advice. If that segment of the population becomes gravely ill, it could serve as a cleansing of the human gene pool.
I find it interesting that One-third of those polled are fearful of having this inoculation administered. Politically in this country, the same percentage is how large the Republican base is purported.

Their job is to creat as much separation and fear as possible.
Sean Hannity is part of the same task force. Michael Savave says he is different, but uses the same language and words and attacks the same targets and tells the same lies.
Hannity is wrong, of course. It's not our ideas that keep us lib-ruls off the air, it's our inability to distill them into fear-inducing half-truths. It's our lack of understanding of the art of the accusatory question. It's our refusal to label everyone who disagrees with us as an enemy. Ignorant, misguided and foolish, perhaps... but not an enemy. Not dedicated to the deliberately planned destruction of the USA, and to handing it over to...? Well, they're not very specific about that.
We've seen too many times that the drug companies rush something to market without acequate testing. We know this didn't get adequate testing. We also know that the vaccine that was tested was not exactly the same as the one they're giving out. We know that in some countries, they are giving a different vaccine to pregnant women than everyone else - but not in the US.
We need people like Rush and Beck to point out the pros and cons of getting this vaccine. Hooray for them. The decision should be one each family makes, not something that people are just sheep about.
For instance, one would assume that someone with fibromyalgia - which is not sometimes categorized as an immune disorder - would be someone who should certainly get the vaccine. But that's not true in my case. I am highly sensitive to all chemicals and medications and often times I react completely opposite to what is the normal reaction. If I take something to calm, for instance, it will give me more anxiety. I have both internal and external chemical sensitivites that make getting this vaccine - which contains thimerosal (mercury), squalene, gelatin and formaldehyde. Also, don't forget the vaccine will contain live H1N1 virus. Even WHO admits we don't know what all of the effect might be of this vaccine. And the US has made sure that the drug manufacturers are protected from liability lawsuits.
Here's something else to think about. The Childhood Vaccine Safety Act of 1986 set up very clear safety guidelines to include the following measures.
1. Provide written benefit and risk information to parents before giving
vaccines
2. Accurate written record of manufactures name and lot number must
be kept
3. Childs medical record must have this information recorded
4. Close monotoring after vaccinations and reporting of all serious
health problems that develop after vaccines and all adverse events
must be reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System
VAERS.
Since many kids will be getting the vaccine at school, how are the schools going to comply with this act?
You should be thankful that we have Rush and Beck to report what others ignore. I certainly am.
While I wish you no ill will, I'm seeing a weeding out of stupid people with this type of advice coming from the Talking head Leadership of the Republican Party.
Perhaps once this flu hits and claims it's victims, there will be far less stupid republicans to get in the way of true governance of this Nation.
I have to wonder why do you listen to what Beck and or Rush have to say if you feel it is fear mongering?? I rather have someone explain to me what this supposed vaccine is all about, both pros and cons than not know anything at all and take the word of someone who doesn't want to get to the truth.

Please show me where either Beck or Rush has passed along even one iota of "pros and cons" regarding this issue. Just one !

I wonder, how many of the 90,000 people who may die this season from this illness can be attributable directly to their listening to Rush and Beck rather than those who are informed on this medical issue?

As for mandatory vaccination--this is not new. Laws mandating vaccination against communicable diseases were first enacted in 1802. Another member posted a report to Congress dated January 2008 which explored the then-current vaccination laws.
I have heard nothing that was not factual. After hearig someone on either of their shows, I do go and research. And, no, that does not mean going to lamestream media. Nor does it mean going to the government's site or to the drug manufacturer's sites. It means doing real research to see what doctors and researchers are saying.

The federal government’s vaccination program for H1N1 flu is VOLUNTARY. Some hospitals and localities are requiring that health care workers get vaccinated for the flu, but that is a local decision. HHS and the CDC have included health care workers as one of our top priority groups to receive the vaccine, and several places across the country began offering H1N1 vaccination to health care workers this week.
The petition on a few selected internet sites protesting the federal government’s “mandatory” vaccination campaign is simply false in its claims. Vaccination is highly recommended as a protective measure against the flu, but is absolutely voluntary.
No matter how many times whining Beck says it, it is NOT TRUE.

Richard, Beck is right. We don't know what damage might be done. The exact vaccine was not tested, but something "similar". That was even on ABC news.

Marilyn M. if you would rather take your chances with a known deadly flu rather than an unverified new vaccine, that is your choice sine the government is NOT making it mandatory, contrary to your medical wizards advice.
So let's see, you are free to refuse this vaccine but, you are promoting the notion that it is mandatory and that people will be micro-chipped and placed in FEMA concentration camps if they don't take the vaccine?
