Recently on the David Letterman late night TV show, the host revealed to his audience that he had sexual relations with women who worked with him. He also revealed that he had been the victim of a two million dollar blackmail threat by CBS producer Joe Halderman.
Considering the circumstances, do you support the way David Letterman handled the alleged blackmail threat…by going public?

Now, the fact that he HAD an extra-marital affair with a co-worker to begin with violates a business standard. Simply stated, if you decide to do the nasty, keep your 'privates' out/off of the payroll.
From media reports, I understand that Dave's Wife knew nothing of the affair until he announced it on his show. Is this a failure to communicate between a husband and wife? Does it show problems in their marriage? Why didn't he tell her in a private conversation before he went public?
The network will not can Dave's butt unless his show loses sponsors and/or suffers a major reduction in ratings.
It's all about money. And properly dealing with your "World Wide Pants".
