We live in the Pacific Northwest so ending up at the local conservation park on a cool, potentially drizzly day is just a matter of course. We love the off season and off hours for having the park mostly to ourselves, but it does mean taking your chances with the weather. Far be it from natives here to let clouds stop their fun. Umbrellas? We don't need no stinkin' umbrellas.
Here we are with the boys loaded into the wagon for the trek around the park:

We all love those wagons so much we had to buy a similar model for treks around town. They're very cool.
Here's the elephant that was giving elephant rides going back up:

Monkeys across the water:

There's a smaller type of monkey behind glass in an enclosure that we always stop by, because they always take extraordinary interest in the presence of my older boy, and have since the first time we took him when he was just a tiny baby. No pictures of that, though, the glass is highly reflective, and even if not, it would seem like intruding on something sacred.
Stopping by the petting barn to visit the spoiled goats:

Regrettably, by the time we got to the wolves and cheetahs it started raining again and we didn't get the camera out.
