Bzzing about Aveeno + Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner

As many of you know, I am a Bzz Agent, which means I get free samples and coupons for new products to try myself and share with others, and I report the “Bzz” or word of mouth from you and other consumers so that BzzAgent.com can report these findings to manufacturers so they know what we like and dislike about their products.  The period of time I do this is called a “Bzz campaign,” and I am currently doing a campaign for the new Aveeno Nourish + hair care collection. 

I received my Bzz kit for this campaign on 9/23/09.  Inside the box that I received were two full-sized bottles of Nourish + Revitalize shampoo and conditioner, four travel-size bottles of Nourish + Moisturize shampoo and conditioner along with some sample packets of Nourish + Revitalize shampoo and conditioner and five coupons.  The only problem was that the full-sized bottle of shampoo had leaked during shipping and left a mess of sticky goo inside the box, on the paperwork and on the outsides of the bottles.  I had to wash all of the bottles in the sink.  To my disappointment, one-third of the shampoo was missing from the bottle.  Based on this, I would not recommend carrying the full-sized bottles in your travel bag!  The screw-on tops for the travel bottles seemed to be intact and secure, so these would be the only ones I would take on a trip with me. 

That is the only negative thing I have to say so far about the product because after using the shampoo and conditioner for almost 2 weeks now, I would definitely recommend it.  As advertised, the nourishing wheat complex in the shampoo and conditioner worked after three washes to show an improvement in the health of my hair.  I had been using Dove Go Fresh Therapy shampoo and conditioner for normal hair and was left with dry, dull, lifeless hair with visible split ends before using Aveeno Nourish + Revitalize.  I frequently use a flat iron on my hair and need hair care products that will repair the damage to my hair from doing this.  Aveeno has definitely delivered on its promise.  My husband even noticed the difference in my hair after a few days.  He said it looked shiny and smooth again.  I find my hair much easier to style and manage now.  I can now go longer between haircuts because my hair will remain healthy longer.  I still need a solution for my dry, itchy scalp though and plan to try the Nourish + Soothe shampoo to relieve the itch.  I will report how this works for me after I try it for awhile.
