Great deal But, if ou can find A Neighbor with a garden and too much time on their hands. You can offer to buy some veggies at low price and freeze fresh ones.
Very few of my neighbors grow any veggies of their own. A few tomato plants is about all you'll find here. Not enough room for corn. I grew beans in a flower bed, and even got enough to can a few quarts and freeze some but don't have enough to make it through the winter. Believe it or not, my husband prefers canned greened beans.
