Who am I that I might be

That others define just who I am

Perceiving me as how they are

We're all from male and femme.

Someone may say that I am kind

Another may say that I am mean

Both may be right in some way

Depends on which the other has seen.

Myself, I’m me, just who I am

Sometime I love , sometime I fear

Sometime I feel almost sublime

But here I am; you can define.

I’m just like you with a different face

Within, our essence is tried and true

But with my choices I may miss

And define another from what I knew.

We listen to teachers, taught to slant

Their opinions they got from others

We take what they say as gospel truth

To them it may be, even from Mothers.

We’re made up of mind, body and soul

Each has its way, each has its goal

When we can get all three to agree

We can have it all and God we see

Truly know just what you want

We are co-creators with God

Sincerely ask, you won't get a stone

Experience the love from our home.

An excellent and fun read my man. It rings of a comfortableness and joyness you have with yourself. That is always commendable. I would guess you have much less tormented nights than peaceful ones, as your conscience seems well satisfied.

Now for a logical answer:

You are the person that God sees, you have the heart that God knows and you possess the spirit that God will judge on. I don't find myself worrying about these things as they apply to you my friend.

I had a little tea party, this afternoon at three
Twas very small, three guests in all, I, Myself, and Me
Myself ate up the sandwhiches, while I drank up the tea
Twas also I who ate the pie and passed the cake to me!

My intuit, yes, another way of saying we're all actors upon the stage
all with different parts but interacting with each other to present a production.

I go further....how do we know if our interpretation of someone inour lives is really that way? What if all we are doing is taking the qualities we deem important and projecting them onto the people and how they affect our lives? Ooooooo!

we see us in other people ..sometimes we like what we see...other times we don't...this is the paradox and why the "law" is to love others as we love ourselves...we are all the same soul level..we just act out differently...and we always have a choice between fear and love.

Thanks you all. This was one of those quickies...and when I re read it there are parts that I might want to change...and doubt creeps in that it may not be worth saving as the rhyme scheme isn't as I thought when 1st writing. I don't know what happens sometimes...that it seems to have a certain rhythm, then when I re read it ...zap...a different beat! uggg###!!!

When I wrote about water, a doubt shadows me. Is not man a magnetic tape on which our father, mother, relatives, environments, surroundings, pre-birth and after-birth warmth...everything are recorded?

I believe you have uncovered the genetic code for life...we are made up of billions of strands of DNA that go back farther than we can see!!! That we choose not to remember our total past when we incarnate...it would be overwhelming!...but many people blame their now on their past...but really we have the choice always how to perceive all our experiences..we are responsible for our feelings...love or fear.

Interesting write. I have been thinking a lot lately, and am actually reading a book by Helen Keller just to get more of a feel on how the specific influences in our lives make us who we are. On Keller, specifically how being taught particular literature shapes her words and thoughts and outlook on life, thus determining who she ended up being.

We are receivers...if we can just "tune in" and quite the "garbage" in our head we will learn it all..i believe that it is all a very simlple thing that we make into a confusing mess!!
