What movie or movies would you rank as the saddest you've ever seen? For me, it would have to be a tie between Beaches and Six Weeks. Both horribly sad movies. Very depressing.

I watched it ONCE.
The pain in my heart was so bad, I never watched it again... I can't even think of it without tearing up... I'm too damned soft-hearted when it comes to children, I guess..
I haven't seen the 2 you mentioned....
Old Yeller...
I suppose.....
Ghost was sad, but not a jerker though.......
I have to think of lately, since I am one who can watch repeats and think it is the first time watching it lol!
There is one I just seen called "are own house" or something rather. Kathy Bates is in it and I just think she is one of the strongest leading ladies out there! She is poor with 5-6 kids and homeless and they find this run down house and start fixing it up. It is told through the eyes of the eldest child.
I also watched "sling blade", which I think is sad. Billy Bob Thornton stars in it and made it. These both have domestic violence in them. But this one also has right and wrong, mental health issues and I guess I lean towards this??
Where the red fern grows for all dog lovers, or critter lovers in general this is one at the top though I am not a big religious person but...... It is rated G for a reason. A oldy but a goodie!
-- and, boy, it was a shock to see Mary Tyler Moore being a witch with a "b"

The Bubcket List hits home for me as I watched my Mom battle cancer & many of the images in the movie were right on the money with that - always makes me cry.
it's a very old movie called "Portrait of Jenny".....
"Terms of Endearment" and the "The Evening Star" which was the sequel. Loved them both, but very sad too.
