Comedic genius Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, who gets more than he bargained for when his expedition takes a wrong turn into the Land of the Lost. Now, Marshall, with his crack-smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist named Will (Danny McBride), have no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures and laugh-out-loud comedy!

Wouldn't it be great to rode with Wild Bill Hickock or Buffalo Bill.
I would go back to Ancient Egypt. I have always loved to learn as much as I could about the different Dynasties, Pharaohs, and lands. I would love to see the Pyramids being built, how they built them, how giant Obelisks were stood on end with no major machinery.
Things seemed so much easier and cheaper then.
If I went back in time, I'd go back at some point to meet some of my ancestors that we don't know anything about at all. It'd be interesting to find out what they were like, what hardships they went through. Plus I'd like to know if how any of them were, was why some of my not nicer relations got their meanness from! But mostly I'd go back in time to just get to know them, what their hopes and dreams where, etc.

I would go back to the place and time when Jesus was born.
I would love to have been in that Manger and seeing him
as a babe and worshipping him.
I know we can worship him now, but being there
when HE came to earth as a baby, that was something
special and I would have loved to see it.
I'd love to go back to the Wild West times. Back to a simpler time where people loves the beauty of nature, there were wild animals roaming free in abundance, no big complexes, paved roads everywhere and litter. Riding horses and wagons all day long, living off the land... that would be so much fun!
I'd also love to go back to the 50's. Poodle skirts and doing the hop! Sweet rides, malt shops and juke boxes!
(I watch lots of Doctor Who.)
I don't want to stay there though. I want to come back home. ha ha ha ha
Then again I guess the 50s would not be for me and my family, as we are racially mixed.
I would love to go back to Ancient Egypt. I would love to visit Egypt someday. I have always loved the Pyramids!!! I would love to learn the secret on how the Pyramids were built, without modern machinery.
I'd travel back to 2005 Boston so I could maybe get on the first Gather team. - LOL
Seriously, I'm torn. I'd like to go back to the Victorian Era in hopes of meeting and working with Nikolas Tesla... or ... travel back to 1400's America so I could have the Adirondacks all to myself... well, I'd share it with the Iroquois anyway.
I would go back to the days when Christ was on the earth. To the time when he suffered, endured, and rose again to ensure that I would be able to live a "free" life now. A life that is victorious, strong and triumphant. My primary reason would be to "thank him." But hey, I'll be able to do that once I get to heaven.
One of them would be 1920's America. I love the clothing from the era of the flappers.
I write historical novels and that would be so cool to see the towns and the people up close for research purposes. That would lend an authentic feel to my work and maybe help me become published one day.
Wouldn't that be cool?!!
I would also like to go to Bible times to see what it was like.
but, on the other hand, I am intrigued by the "Little House on the Prairie" days too.
Or to Poland before my first relatives came to America.
I would visit virgin forests and hide from dinosaurs. I would lie in a field and watch a night sky unhindered by modern lights all around me.
I would stand on the shores of ancient seas.
I would visit the Garden of Eden.
I would learn dead languages and discover the secrets of the Oracles.
I would seek out Atlantis and Lemuria...
