California may be the eighth largest economy in the world, but its state staff are being paid in IOUs, unemployment is at its highest in 70 years, and teachers are on hunger strike. So what has gone so catastrophically wrong?

Don't worry I lived there and my daughter is at Stanford as a freshman, its got one of the beautiful coastlines in the world, California is and will always be a goldmine, be for me like others the cost of living there as always is ridiculious. The best ime to move there is always be yeaterday. Otherwise if you're young and foolish, go enjoy the sun, moutains, deserts and hills. But always have a ticket for back home if you don't strike gold right away.

Al Jazeera did a special about this the other day (the Middle East knows what's goin' on over here, btw) and when I saw Arnold, I thought back to Regan and said to myself "What do you expect when we elect movie stars?" It's like we're living in Disney World and we elect Micky Mouse to govern. I'm wondering when states are going to start to succeed from the union. Seriously. This sh** is getting to be unbelievable.

It would help if the people who are elected to office would simply do their job and stop procrastinating. This has been going on for years and we residents of California are not one bit happy about.

I did NOT vote for Arnold. They cut everyone else but they certainly didn't turn town a pay increase. It's the wrong message during these times.
