I think ACORN isn't that kind of nut. More like a Chestnut and it's getting roasted. Except that it is the kind that grown in the NW and isn't any good for anything.

Not bad though he spent half the article trying to make it all a politically inspired jihad. Once the "how dare the right wingers do this" crap finished, I thought he did a fair job.

ACORN isn't a monolithic organization. It's more libertarian in the sense of being more of a confederacy of local organizations. It's hard to stereotype.

Now, the idea that everyone who works for or with ACORN is completely morally upright is a dream. There's free money out there. Some of the people who line up for free money are going to be crooks. It doesn't matter if the money is passed out as agricultural subsidies, tax credits, government campaign funding, small business loans, or aid to the poor.

What you say make sense to me Nippy, but I don't think it will appease those who wouldn't have given ACORN a second thought if Obama never had any connection to the organization.
