we got back from Emma's birthday and the poor baby girl had a rough day with her head.
When I take her out and go to places where she does not know people that well I have to watch her like a hawk. She tries so hard to interact with people and she is still not quite up to speed with her speech and people don't understand her. I have to admit, the kids did great with her. Watching her play with the kids today made me realize just how far she has come. She did great with the interaction, the problem was due to her speech she did not tell someone right that she wanted on the glider and she took the glider to the head HARD.
I got over there and I could already see the knot and bruise. I get her calmed down and she goes back to playing and she had a blast. Also she had no accidents today with her potty training, (do I dare say she is almost trained?)
Well we get home and daddy looks at the knot on her head and he sees, I leave the room to go feed the dog and give him water, well she tripped over daddys foot and went head 1st in to the couch. The poor baby now has 2 knots and 2 bruises. Daddy felt horrible, but what can he do it was accident.
I did take pics, I will most likely post those later.. between the soccer in the rain and the party I am pretty wiped...

My little boy has a big noggin on his head too. He was running at the sitters and went head first into the wood floor. I saw it happen. I knew it was going to be a big egg bump when I saw him fall.
