Favorite Wine

What is your favorite type of wine? Yes, different occasions call for different wines BUT which one flavor would be your favorite?

My current favorite is Charles Shaw's Two Buck Chuck brand of Cabernet Sauvignon.

I'm not much of a wine drinker but I have a bottle of honey wine that I am waiting to try. Just waiting for the right moment.

ripple and boones farm - at least it was back in high school. not much of a wine drinker since i became legal.

You are lucky. In most places it has become Three Buck Chuck, but it is still a very good wine.

I don't drink wine, most domestic wine gives me a headache, there's something in it that is not in imported wine, and I'm way too cheap to pay for that. However, the really cheap sweet stuff doesn't bother me, re sangria, maniechewitz, boone's farm.

For just day-to-day sipping, I keep a bottle of tawny port and one of cream sherry on hand.

Frankly, cheap wines taste better. The snooty stuff is almost always dry and bitter. They bear no resemblance to the grapes from which they are made. Yes, I like the Boone's Farm varietals, even tho' they're a bit soda-ish. Any wine that actually tastes like fruit and is soothingly sweet is fine: Manischewitz, Mogan David, sangrias, wine coolers, etc.

I don't know much about wine. I've had "good" wine that I didn't like much. I've always liked the inexpensive stuff better. Good grief, I'm such a cheap date!

well California has a good red wine, and a dry white wine , but I like the Franzia Sunset Blush for parties, its a favorite of my friends.

Mad House Wife makes a yummy blush. For me though, I am deathly allergic to sulfides, so I can only have a little, then take a Benadryl! (Which makes me the life of the party everytime!) lol

I used to like plum wine, but I don't like wine anymore. It's either too sweet, too dry, or just too yucky. I don't like wine. It makes my palate pucker and my stomach churn.

Beaujolais Nouveau and Merlot - specifically from Washington State. I am not big on wine. My next door neighbor makes his own wines - and they are excellent - I get free wine every once in awhile. He gets his grapes from California and then I see him decanting and making the wine. Fun to watch.

I used to prefer white to red but now it is the opposite.

My favorite is from a local winery called "Raggae Red".
Its made by Easley Winery in downtown Indianapolis.
My second favorite is also from a local winery called "Buck Creek Winery" and its called "Razzle Dazzle".
Both are red wines and very sweet.

I'm not a big wine drinker. It almost always give me heartburn. I do like home made sangria from time to time though. My drink of choice is UV Blu and Pink lemonade.
