Are your Kids Asking for the Hottest 2009 Toys?

Recently Toys R Us released their list of the Hottest Toys for Christmas 2009 (link below).  Included on the list are popular items like the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Movie Toys, Fisher Price toys and more that will be found on the wish lists of children everywhere for the next several months.

It seems that the year is moving rather fast and before you know it the holidays are already here!   This begs the question, which toys are your kids asking for this coming holiday season?

Are they asking for any of the "Fabulous 15" Toys R US Hot toys for 2009?

Or maybe something completely different?  Thanks for your comments!

My son doesn't want anything on that list. He's already worked on his list, though, and it includes a camera, a tag reader, 1 toy, 2 movies and a bunch of books. So far it looks like he'll get everything on his list.

I think the only thing on there that my kids would ask for, but haven't yet, would be the Star Wars Lego thing for my oldest.

I don't have any children. But I certainly wouldn't get these. God, I remember how easily my brother and I were fooled by advertising. Until we remembered how poor we were, then we let it go.

My 5 1/2 year old daughter is asking for a drum set!

My 8 1/2 year old son is asking for a wooden treasure chest!

Oh, the wooden treasure chest sounds like an awesome gift! You can have so much fun with that!

You should totally hide it somewhere and leave him a treasure map under the tree!

None of that has even passed the girls lists, though it is a little early for them to be requesting stuff and I haven't heard anything yet. They usually have the same assortment of stuff and I know what they like, so it is never a trendy list. They always ask for new American Girl stuff, new books, some clothes, something music related, and Legos.

My children are all adults. My days of lining up in the freezing weather to buy the year's hottest toys are over. The Zhu Zhu hamsters are cute.
