David Letterman Extorted for 2 million dollars

David Letterman revealed tonignt that he had sex with members of his staff, and someone tried to extort 2 million dollars from him.  Good for him for bringing this to light.  It's the only way to stop a blackmailer.  If it's consenting adults who cares.  It may hurt his family, but they can forgive him.  It far better to tell the truth and reveal such criminal acitivity then to allow extortionl.

Why are you so obsessed with Letterman? You've published three articles about him in one day. Sheesh, go play golf or something.
There was nothing much else he could do but admit it, so I don't think it has anything to do with any kind of integrity about bringing a blackmailer to light, if that's what you meant by "good for him." Could he have paid the money? Well, of course, but the extortion wouldn't have stopped at that, and he knew it. I think it's poetic justice for all the slams he made on Palin. The joke was finally on him.
