Yes we DID just give Glenn Beck a LEAK ALERTOR at his book signing here in our town!

That's right.  Nic and I went to a book signing with Glenn Beck after waiting in line for 2 hours and handed him a bag with a Leak Alertor. It was an exciting night!

Glenn Beck?  Awesome!  His new book?  Can't wait to get started reading it!

I just wish we had time to explain WHY we were giving him one, in a bag, with a copy of the pamphlet that AQUA gave to all of it's customers (if you use Aqua as your water company, then you can expect to get one if you haven't already) and the press release.

My Dad and his company: Conservatives, Christians, Republicans.

My Dad and his company: Designed a water conservation product at a low price with complicated technology and even donated $2 of every product sold through Aqua's promotional code (with the code: $14.95 + free shipping, without it's $19.95) to Aqua's program to help low-income families with their water bills.

Yes - Conservatives CARE!  We CARE about our environment and the less fortunate, and we can help - even under a capitalistic economy.  Which one of those politicians could engineer a product like this?  Do you think my Dad would have done it if he were FORCED to?  Hmmm . . . something to think about.

Anyway, it was a fun night.  We have been helping out at his office for the past almost 2 weeks until we move to Florida (in a few weeks).  I'm really proud of him.

If you haven't heard of the Leak Alertor yet, you will soon.  The product had an article about it in our Daily Local Newspaper, and it's getting around the Country.  The water utilities/municipalities that they have spoken to so far are really excited about it, some (such as Aqua) have already tested it themselves and have jumped on board to get the word out to their customers.  It's a win-win situation for everyone when it's estimated that 1 out of ever 5 toilets are leaking at any one time, and a leaking toilet can waste enough water in a year to fill up an Olympic size swimming pool.  The #1 customer complaint to water utilities is high water bills, and the #1 reason for high water bills is a leaking toilet - usually caused by a bad flapper.
