Sarah Palin lectures not selling. "They [lectures buyers] think she is a blithering idiot"

Evidently she doesn't know the difference between a lecture and a political meeting.

Hopefully, Palin will become irrelevant as more are exposed to her idiocy and lack of knowledge.

Well, well. There are plenty out there in the GOP more capable than this lady. BUT people like her, and she can raise money. She is no lecturer however.

I think she should stick to Twitter.

I am glad that Republicans and the right wing like her. It proves to the rest of us what they are all about and the level of intelligence necessary to be in their camp. I wish more of them showed themselves for what they truly are.
You know, for a group of people that consider themselves Christian, they couldn't have any less in common with Jesus than they do. Heck Atheists have more in common with him than Republicans. They have a problem with social healthcare but have no problem feeding trillions of dollars in the Insurance industry coffers. They hate immigrants but hire them to watch their children or work in their yards. They say they love their fellow man but have a problem when asked to pitch in for the fellow that can't afford it. They say that government should stay out of their lives but want to ensure that your prayer is brought into public schools.
I don't think there is a more hypocritical group out there yet they are not viewed by the larger public for what they are. Why is that?

a lecture is not a political rally, true. Political rallies seek to enlist the audience in an effort to win an election. Lectures seek to explain something. I can't see Palin succeeding at the second thing, though I realize there exist many who think that she is just wonderful at that thing.

Is that like when Clinton "lectures" or Carter "lectures" or an author "lectures"... Gosh, the ones I've been to, all talk about their subject, and isn't Palin's politics? a

Sure it is subjective. However you can't sit there and say Obama's stimulus sucks, he should only cut taxes to small business and that is real stimulus without telling people why Keynesian economics falls short in this type of recession.

Subjective never meant not rationale. The lady is irrationale and does not even know who John Maynard Keynes is. Remember, she only gave a couple of interviews that were disasters and talked to Fox News a plenty. Can't wait for her to sit on an economic panel discussion.

Well, she managed to negotiate $7 million up front for her book. Wish I was that dumb!

There are enough dumbasses to buy, therefore she is worth every penny of those $7 millions. It is not a meritocracy when it comes to that.

Paris Hilton is worth millions of dollars for pretty much whenever she decides to appear somewhere. All the kids in America should wish they are as dumb as Paris. You know, multi million dollars dumb.

Her book is actually being written by a ghost writer named Lynn Vincent. Vincent has co-written books with people who have openly stated that "interracial marriage is repulsive."

Please Please Pleeese let her be the Republican candidate in 2012!

People will fork over the money to have a reason to get hyped up. They want to hear her spew her limited knowledge on political topics. I hope she answers the question, "Why did you run away from your post?"

Was the book deal more important than the people who elected your "pretty" mug? I doubt she wrote that book. And I am sure it is full of feel good lies.

She also writes all those op-Eds and so. The lady can't do a thing.

It figures! And she is a conservative Christian, right? or is it a KKK in cover-up sheets? Ha, they gotta wear two sheets, one for the organization and one so nobody know they are in the organization.

When conservative columnist Kathleen Parker appeared on Hardball over the summer she stated that Palin's nomination as V.P. was a "dog whistle" to those who still feel that "white womanhood" must be protected from black men. Parker grew up in the south so she knows what she's talking about. The company that Palin keeps and writes books with should surprise no one.
