Have you ever felt difficulty in getting the exact meaning of the words you don't know? Well, its quite difficult, people seldom try to get through. I prefer to know the words but seldom I use. Literature is the interesting when you can play with words. Some of the words like - animadversion & godspeed are bit difficult to get the proper meaning, unless you work on. There are many interesting words and and I will try to know if I can have somedays. What about having complete time on these in the weekend? Good Idea?
poltroon — a contemptible coward
mendacity — a lie; falsehood
blah....blah....blah...
Good Luck!

Godspeed, as a word, is a wish for a prosperous journey, success, and good fortune (from Middle English God speed you, meaning "May God help you prosper"). It is also used occasionally in a non-religious manner, intended as a wish for a job to be accomplished quickly. As part of the English naval tradition, the phrase was uttered in launching military vessels, and today is heard during NASA space shuttle countdowns.
