My friend Jackie has an amazing orchid collection, exotic
orchids bloom all year long in her Florida garden. This
post is part II of "You gotta love Jackie's Florida garden"
click here - for part I.
So come along for a garden walk with us!

Jackie certainly has a way with orchids ...
they hang everywhere -
from trees
and under bushes.

Elephant ears are easy to grow and great for a tropical look.
Jackie discovered an unusually patterned and much lighter green leaf sprouting in the midst of her plain dark green elephant ear plant.
Cool pattern on this elephant ear leaf.

I'm thinking of tiny
deep purple old fashioned violas,
they have an amazing violet fragrance.

Bromeliads are one of the easiest plants to grow in your garden in Florida.
No attention required and they usually bloom twice a year.

Her collection of blue glass globes - plant watering sticks.
Makes for a pretty still life when they are not in use.
She placed them in an old jug,
wish I'd thought of that!

Pretty orchid.

Passion flower vine.

Oil lamp to light up the pathway.

Jackie has a fun, unique
and somewhat whimsical garden style ...
We both agree that one
can never have too many windchimes in one's garden!
Detail view - windchime

Gecko - garden doodad

Gerbera daisy

White orchid - elephant solar light - pretty coleus

Close ups of the bromeliads and a bottle garden still life.

Thank you for posting your photo at Pretty Pictures.
Thanks so much for sharing with my group.
I love them.
I recently bought my first orchid ever, a small one for $5, and I think I am in love. My neighbor has a huge one, and I have the feeling that I will be adding another one next time I get a Home Depot gift card.
