My chance to be a Bridezilla

I thought about this when I seen a post earlier about bridezillas. My wedding turned out great and everything went very smooth all the way up until the morning of when my cake was delivered.

My cake had many places that the icing was so thin you could see the cake. The homeade gerbera daisies still had flower on them and many were broken.  A close friend called the lady and asked her to make some more of the icing and we could put it on.. So she did.. and we took off the homeade broke gerbera daisies and put on some that I used in my wedding. My husbands Darth Vader cake was excellent. Not sure why she even brought mine up as bad as it was.. but oh well.. SHe cried when she came back and was very apologetic.. I of course forgave her as she is a friend and its a small town no need for grudges.. She can make awesome cakes I have seen some.. Mine must have been a test or something.. Oh well..

I took it like a champ. Never really bothered me much.. I was not going to let the cake get me down.. I was soo excited to finally get married that was really ALL that mattered.

My fixed cake and we even had green punch to match.. I loved it!
