Amtrak Autotrain - Bedroom

On this recent trip back up north we orginally were in a Roomette but we are larger so I upgraded the upgrade to a Bedroom.

The bedroom is on the upper levels and sleep 2, it has a private bath and shower, sink and vanity...this one is my favorite.

Nothing like phone service and texting while traveling

Looks nice! I've used the Roomette before. But mainly I just ride in the seats.....it's cheaper ;) It sure is nice having a place to yourself though. I use Amtrak every visit back home I make. Usually once or twice a year. It's a 10 hour trip. Long ride in a seat....lol

Nope I lied...it wasn't a roomette...it was the bedroom. It had been a long time since I used that. Guess I forgot which one it was. I think we called it a 'sleeper car' lol I really don't remember...it was 7 years ago. ;) I didn't have a shower though...just a bathroom and sink.

The roomette on the Autotrain is just a tiny "room"..it just has the seats that turn into a bed. The bedroom on the Autotrain has the toilet, shower,sink...
