Thought some of you might like to see the pics from the Watercolor Quilt that I finished. It's a calendar of sorts! I quilted in the names of family into the block where they have a birthday....mine was quilted into August! My boys into March.
Here's the finished quilt, hanging in my family room:

I tried to take a close-up of January, and the picture just looked whited-out!
Here's a close-up of February:

and March!

April & May:

I chose this for June, for Flag Day!

and for July, I chose an exploding star!

I didn't like the original design for August, so I made my own:

and September, I used the colors of greens to oranges & browns, to show the change in seasons:

Of course I couldn't resist an October pumpkin, (the half-square triangles were perfect for his eyes!)
and some birds for November!

and of course a decorated Christmas Tree for December. I added some charms, beads, and what-nots on this block.

Thanks for checking out my pictures!

very very cool
I'm still working on knitting an afghan (quilt pattern) for my step-daughter, I am making 20 large squares with bamboo yarn (pink, green, and cream) and I am only on the 10th. I've been slacking big time.
