Is there something that just turns your stomach?

I've raised two boys and a girl. There isn't alot that bothers me anymore after listening to what 12-year-old boys will discuss at the dinner table. At one point my daughter commented that I was spending way too much time around adolescent boys because nothing seemed to phase me any more.

As a child, however, I do remember reacting to the phrase "blood and guts". I had a couple of uncles that liked to watch me turn green and leave their presence.

To me it's the smells.
I have been a cook by trade and I have no problem seeing most things, but when the smell gets too much I lose it.
