Wasting borrowed time
Wearing borrowed skin
Too tight for hot blood
Too loose for the faint of heart
Hives raised from primordial ooze
Hands raised in anger
Voice raised in keening moans
For a sip of the blood that owns me
Drink in the rush of adreniline
Taste the salt of madness
Tripping on wounded pride
On the frantic quest for a fix
No sword to slay my tangled veins
No direction to mend my mangled mind
Kiss my open wounds
Rip my skin assunde
So I can seek a new drug
A piece of peace
A shot of serenity
A chance at a chance
....

A piece of peace
A shot of serenity
A chance at a chance"
If I were but to sleep
I might find solace there
but i have not the means
for life just doesn't care
I have felt your words! poignant and excellent write. If these feelings are personal, many hugs and blessings to you!
I haven't been in here for a long time and I only drop by in between seasons, but your name came into my inbox as a ray of " your long golden sun hair" and your deep eyes were looking at me from far away.
I feel your pain, the pain of a wounded soul who cannot bear the limitation imposed by the mind and body and your cry for another chance. There is something mysterious in your voice and words but so clear to the sensitive ear of my being. Somehow I feel in depth what is going on in your mind and from so far away but so near in the same time I am sending you healing love to heal your wounds and if you will feel this loving energy even for an hour in the non existing time, then I am happy I could let my inner voice reach you in the ocean of vibrant energy.
love and inner peace accross the Agean

Every stanza stands out as I just tried to pick a favorite. It's all powerfully good.

She went through a difficult time and was not able to thank you for all the comments left in here. She pinged my profile explaining what happened and asked me to tell you about.

Take the chance, get well, you're loved. Make that enough. I found you because I memorized your gather page and check off and on.
