And Justin - Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one gets to the Father except thru me" - sooooo . . . that right there tells you that there is only ONE way. People say "that's not nice!" or "That's not PC!" but Jesus wasn't worried about being PC. He wants to give people eternal life, and he offers the only way to get it.

Jesus also told us to spread the word - that's our mission! We are to love everyone and spread the word so that all may know and have eternal life.

I saw a video clip he posted where he said: "If I saw someone was going to be hit by a car and I could save the person - I would. Sycophant is a self-seeking, servile flatterer; fawning parasite. My point here is I am not a sycophant because I speak my mind, and am not looking to be flattered, but nor am I looking to attack. I don't attack your beliefs,and a mature person should be secure enough not to feel threatened by my beliefs.

We are all entitled to our own opinions and our own beliefs. NOBODY should be judged because what they believe is different from what you believe.

Always feel free to procalim what you believe and be proud of who and what you are, but if you then add the, frankly un-needed, caveat that you will therefore consider everyone else with a differing outlook to be wrong, it goes beyond self-confidence and into self-righteousness and that is only likely to incur some understandable annoyance.

So, what's the problem. I have found that even among Christians if you say, Jesus Christ is God the attacks come. I was told by one minister not to put it that way. He said to call Him part of the Godhead. I of cousrse not being a sychophant continued to call Jesus, God. The assisstant pastor, got on the pulpit, and said, "Folks, if you dont know that Jesus is God, leave, you missed the boat."
He got fired. I lett the sycophant church, and found another where Christains are not afraid of criticism and truth. I truly believe that many who think they are Christians do not know of the diviintiy of Christ. I'm not angry about it; it's a free country, and God will speak to them as He sees fit. I'm just stating my beliefs because I have been attacked. If anyone feels the need to attack me, go ahead.

Yes, Christ sits on the right hand of God, but he was also God in the flesh when he came to Earth. They are separate, yet part of the same. Father, Son & Holy Spirit = God. Jesus saying "I am who I am" (which is quoting God from the Old Testament) is one of the reasons the Jews wanted Jesus killed - because he was saying he was God. Which is true.

Somehow a question of fact that could easily be resolved with a quick look at a dictionary has escalated into a brawl worthy of the Jerry Springer show. How we made the transition from Michael Jackson to which religion worships the true god and the sexual orientation of various Gather members is a question worthy of a PhD thesis.

I don't see why a correction on the definition should be taken as a personal attack. I think the results were pretty funny though. Here's some of the civil and focused discourse:

My dear friend, when we are pulled into debating and defending the Gospel and/or our selves and our Christian beliefs, we often become a magnet for the enemy's spears which are aided by his foolish, prideful minions.. The more Truth we proclaim, the more fierce their attacks........ We should proclaim the Gospel, our beliefs and God's Word and then let the chips (remarks and those who make them) lie where they fall.... Let the Lord work or deal with them, whichever He chooses......... It then becomes a personal matter between them and Almighty God..... We so often forget that there are 3 responsibilities concerning our sharing of our beliefs and the Gospel....... 1 is our's to share God's Word with others. 2 is the Holy Spirit's to convict and draw them unto salvation, if He chooses to do so. 3 is their own choice of acceptance, personal interpetation or even rejection of God's Biblical Truth... We have no control over 2 and 3
It is often when our concern for others and God's Truth being proclaimed in these last days, becomes quite passionant, that we attempt to fullfill all three of those individual responsibilities and then, not only open ourselves to the enemy's ignorant attacks, which are going to come anyway, but also to the temptation and possibility of rolling around in the mud right along with them..... You are much to beautiful a spirit, to give these folks ANY opportunity or the pleasure they covet, in attempting to cover you in their own dirt.......
