Yes, checked out the hair, good golly. Arms? Me? No! Never. Didn't notice the nice yummy shape of the biceps, or even look at the muscular build in the chest. Not even his cute little butt! Nope. Unh-uh. Don't know whatchu talkin' about. :)

I loved this crazy music too. This morning I got a bit melacholy and was listening to all types of funky, rockin' out music from the past! I was jumping around like a crazy person just having some good old innocent fun!

Loved that long hair then and still do...don't know why but I do. I find it highly attractive and very sexy. Those nice arms, chest, and of course tight buns did look good didn't they?? Nope ya didn't know what I was talkin' bout...

I wore a hole in the vinyl Grand Funk Live album. First arena concert I ever went to (an unknown Black Sabbath opened the bill) LA Forum.

These guys weren't the greatest musicians, but they had drive and could find a groove and work it.

OOOOH so did I and had to replace it with another which is what I was groovin' too this morning! Love that album from end to end...

You're right. They weren't the best musicians in the world but were rockin' and stuck to that groove and got everyone in the mood to dance and have a good time.

Yes Esther, we were right next to the stage and the singer was constantly bobbing his head around with that long straight hair flying. Never imagined that all this time later I'd be able to say "Ozzy" to just about anyone and they'd know I was talking about that guy. I remember the guitarist got stuck a couple of times during solos where there was a pause - later I'd find out he cut his fingertips off and had two fingers with wooden tips.

I played with Barbie Dolls, love beads, peace signs and everything any other 13 year old hippie chick whose Dad was in Viet Nam for the second time would have played with. I was a bit older thinking and a bit radical for my age but because of Dad and his being away so much at war and such...

I never really got into this group too much. In '72, I was into seeing as many Alice Cooper shows (experiences) that I could. His hits were numerous - Elected, Billion Dollar Babies, School's Out, I Love The Dead, No More Mr. Nice Guy, I'm Eighteen, etc. - and the stage shows were fabulous!!

Saw Alice Cooper once, at the Hollywood Bowl. He had his head chopped off by a guillotine. Kind of gimmicky and hokey, but some of the music was good.

This was the stuff my kids listened to and I had to fight my wife so they could listen. I didn't care for much of it, including Grand Funk but my kids had the right to listen to what they liked. Of course, my parents didn't care for Little Richard, Bo Diddley, The Midnighters, Etta James, Big Joe Turner, and all of the other musicians I enjoyed.
