I have an upcoming wedding to attend, yeti's supervisor's. Anyhow, I spent an hour finding this great dress online, the model looked so sexy in it. I bought it and guess what, it's not as bright as i thought it would be nor is it as tight. I've been exercising, etc, and when my size small dress arrived, it was too loose.

Anyhow, this is how it's suppose to look:

<--- NOT ME!!! I WISH IT WAS!!!

butttt... it doesn't, mainly because i'm short and my boobs are larger. it falls down to above my knees.

I'm still going to wear it because i spent $50 on it but I need to remember that buying online is a bad idea when buying clothes you've never tried on before.

Have you ever bought something online and thought why'd I do that????

Very cute, but it's not my style. I go with longer. That's just me. Plus, I don't have boobs so everything is big on top.

I seldom by anything online ... just books mostly. so I guess I can say no I haven't ever thought why'd I do that????

the same thing happened to me with shoes.
i was looking for the PERFECT pair to wear on my wedding day and found these hot pink wedge heel shoes on shoes.com, i believe and when they arrived, they weren't near as bright nor did they even look like the same color i thought they'd be. =/
i didn't end up wearing them and i've only tried them on so they just sit in my closet. actually id unno where they are lmao.

I don't usually buy clothes on line, with the exception of one place, their size 12, petitie fits me just right. Wish their size ten would fit me just right:)

Actually if it is not so bright and a bit longer on you I think it will look more attractive and appropriate for a wedding. Even subdued in color this one is still going to be a standout and that's what you intended, isn't it, Miss my boobs are bigger:) - that will make the dress look HOT!

I have been so lucky with online purchases. I shop online so much and the only thing I bought that I wasnt pleased with was a bit too small and that was a reason for a diet lol I loved this shirt and had to loose a bit to make it look good :)

Clothes never fit me right so I never buy for myself on line. I have bought for my grandsons and daughters and it has worked out okay. My youngest daughter even bought her prom dress on line. She is really tiny so had to have major alterations done but it was cheaper than buying it in a shop.

Yes, I bought a corset three months ago and my bust was far too large to fit in it. I contacted the seller and offered me a free replacement. Thankfully, my situation worked out great. :)

And, you could always have it hemmed for a few dollars; check out your local dry cleaners for help. I think the dress would look best above the knee on any woman.

Being a super plus size, I have to buy most things online. The first time I buy someplace, I have to usually adjust the size I buy from them to find what fits me the best. There is not a good guarantee of sizes on Womens clothes. I have always hated that.

I'm 5'10" so it's hard for me to find pants or dresses that are long enough. Buying clothes online is usually not an option for me unless it's shorts or a shirt or jacket. If it's a brand name that I've worn before, then I might try an online order. Also, if you order something from an online store that also has the same store in your town you can have it shipped to the store to prevent shipping charges. Then when you go to pick it up you can try it on and if it doesn't fit you can get a refund. That's just a little something I learned awhile back.

I sometimes wear short skirts and dresses, but the longer ones are classier - in my opinion. I don't like baggy or loose fitting clothes and when they fit your body just right, then you don't really need to show a lot of skin.

It's a cute dress and it may look better on you than you think. :-)

I have been very lucky with my online purchases. I shop online all the time...it is a great way for me to get the sales for myself and the family!!
