What we are facing is the forefront of a world will be slaves under one man...the anti-christ, who will proclaim himself the ruler of the planet "God on earth"
Even since before the time of Christ a ruler who would "fix" things on earth was expected. Jesus came but he wasn't a ruler who would "fix" things here. Things can't be "fixed" here. Many people felt threatened by him. Judas got tired of him not going forth and "fixing" what the people wanted to fix. That was part of the reason he betrayed him. He wanted Jesus to use his powers to be the "King of the Jews" and over throw the Romans.
Even the man on one of the crosses next to him mocked him and say, Hey get yourself down and us and save us from this death, if you are the Christ. Many people mocked and jeered Jesus to "prove" himself. Jesus showed that through him God healed the lame and restored sight to the blind.
Matthew 15:30 And there came unto him great multitudes, having with them the lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and they cast them down at this feet; and he healed them:
It was with the power of God.... as Jesus said,
John 5:19 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doeth, these the Son also doeth in like manner.
God knew that Jesus had to suffer and die. Jesus was the ultimate lamb with no blemish to be the perfect sacrifice. It was horrific for Jesus to go through all that was done to him and on the cross Jesus cried out to God
Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
The roman leaders didn't want trouble. The Jewish leaders didn't want trouble. They didn't want things to change.
Jesus was not here but for any other reason then to try to get people to understand that God loved them and wanted a relationship with them.Then he was to be crucified and his victory over death, and provide the opportunity through his sacrifice for us all to be forgiven and reconciled with God.
Ephesians 2:12-18 that ye were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ.For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition, having abolished in the flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace; and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: and he came and preached peace to you that were far off, and peace to them that were nigh: for through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father.
It was foretold in the Bible that a time would come when there would be a one world government. A man will proclaim himself "God" on earth and will promise to fix all the problems in the world. To unite all nations so we can live in peace and harmony. This system though will make all the people of this world slaves. They will take the number of the beast.
Through out time there have been rulers who have wanted to rule the world. Millions of people have been murdered because of these men. One man, Adolph Hitler wanted to create a perfect race. When he was elected he promised a better more wealthy Germany. The people wanted a better life and as Hitler became in power, the people had to look the other way...there was not much they could do to fight their government or stop their fellow citizens who were treated like cattle and brought to concentration camps or murdered in the gas chambers. What Hitler did affected everyone. The people who worked in the concentration camps, the Nazi army and others became monsters and did inhumane acts to people. Being Jewish, helping a Jewish person, having a disease like epilepsy or a problem like downs syndrome, meant you could not be part of the master race and you would die for it.
What happened under the rule of Hitler is a sign of the ruler to come. Power can corrupt and anyone who is perceived as an enemy of the one world government will not be tolerated.
Maybe you aren't Jewish, nor have epilepsy or have downs syndrome....or fit in the categories that warranted death under Hitler's rule. The point is we do not know what the one world government ruler will decide are the categories for those who must die. Anyone could fall in one of these categories. This is the problem with one man holding the reins to all the world.
There are many things that have been put in place over the decades to enable the American government to control the people. Interstates and other roads are built with the ability for tanks to travel on them. Our water systems have shut off valves all over the place in the neighborhoods. Crime will eventually rise with the economy until our rights to bear arms will be taken away. If crime was the real reason they would have done it long ago. Without private citizens owning guns, there can not be an uprising against a government take over.
Now all citizens are going to be required to hold a passport. Soon you must show a passport to get a drivers license. Passports have a chip in it. Low jack on your car can help find the car thef, but it can also be misused.
We are on the fore front of the pieces of the puzzles assembling for the one world government. And there are many who think people who see this coming as paranoids.
All these things may be agreed on for the "greater good" People will trade their freedoms for "peace and safety"
If you think rules and supervision of the Homeland security are wacky on the airlines after the event of 911.....just wait until we have a one world monetary system, a one world religion, a one world government. Any one of us might not do wrong now, but if someone decides in that government that you are to be gone, you will be invisible...and disappear. Just like when Hitler was in power.
For those who don't agree with the "new" ruler....if you can't sell, work or buy anything, how do you live in this world....and with the way it is if you can't pay their taxes you'll lose the land you farm the food to eat and live on. YOU STARVE
My focus is on Jesus. Like Peter walking on the water with his focus on Jesus, so is my focus. Peter heard some disturbing winds around him and his fears took over, his focus was on the wind, not Jesus. I encourage all during this frightening time we are now living in to focus on Jesus for he is our hope. Focus on his promises. Focus on the our reward of eternal life. Replace your fears with faith. Walk on in love, not fear.
If you don't have a relationship with God, or you are scared of the things to come, I urge you to think about what is on the horizon and ask God to forgive you, guide you and teach you. He is a wonderful merciful God, who loves all of us. Give him an opportunity to help you get understanding of him. I know that people think it is a bunch of fairy tales and people are foolish to believe. I know this is not an intellectual process, it is a spiritual process. I feel God is real. I know in the miracles in my life that God is real. When I saw the faces of my babies, I saw the wonder of God. I would die before I would deny my belief in God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. Just pray with an open heart for God to show you what you need to know or hear to believe in him and he will. God loves you.
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

I can relate to this: "When I saw the faces of my babies, I saw the wonder of God. " I have never experienced such intense love as I feel for my child. As overwhelming as that love is, it is but a grain of sand compared to God's love for us. How foolish we would be to turn away from that much love.
That is a good and timely reminder of God's love for us!
Today, we no longer believe in the Mediterranian being the 'middle of the earth,' we have more intelligent views about science, we know more about space, geology, genetics, medicine, physics, philosophy, mechanics, horticulture, chemistry as well as improved (in most areas) treatment of women, not to mention slavery.
It might not sit well with some people, but our religious information is never first hand; it always comes from others. We are more able to compare beliefs of others through the internet and meeting people with other views, thus making more informed choices. Regrettably, some of us just go along with the views of our parents, who just, guess what?, did the same. The result could be like 'chinese whispers'.
It is always healthy to question our beliefs. Our collective knowledge is evolving; it would be arrogant to think we KNOW everything, now.
'The frog thought the well a fine stretch of water, until he saw the sea.' Think about it.

BTW, my parents were not church goers. Nor am I going along with the views of my parents. My father thought the Bible was summed up in one word, "Believe" and often said, "Thank God there's a God" that would sum up his "religious influence on me.
When the Bible says God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th people say "Impossible" Well, since our night and day was created during those 6 days..... I would say that God's days were much different than ours and not based on our night and day.
And I assure you, I do not have a low IQ.
But I must share with you I have a much happier life believing there is a God in Heaven who loves me and that after this life I have something to look forward to.

Antichrist, on the other hand, is a spirit that pops up constantly, but about which less is written.

I was just telling someone on Gather about how concerned I was about how difficult it is to live in this world without a social security number or other kind of assigned number. Plus, we are becoming more and more a cashless society. I can see a future where we will all have to register our electronic bank accounts in order to use our money. And, there's already technology for micro-chips that can contain our personal information that could be expanded to include banking, etc. These go either in your hand or your forehead. From this, I can see the prophecy of the mark and not being able to buy and sell without it coming to be.
And, I believe that a lot of things will happen right under even the best Christian's nose without them even knowing it until it becomes really bad.
I fear the time of this event dearly............
