Animal photo of the day 09/24/09

The other day I was waiting for my daughter to get off the bus. I did and we were walking in to the house together. When she bend down right in front on the door. I told her that is just some leaves. As I seen it earlier. She took a closer look and check out what those leaves really were:

I am glad my daughter took a closer look. Otherwise I would have missed getting a picture of this beauty. It makes me wonder how much other nature I walk right pass and not even notice.

That is what I was thinking it was..but the markings are a little off. So I am not sure. I know they have the markings that look lik eye like this one has.. but there are several different kind if I am not mistaken.
