phrase is true but what the left neglects to mention is the remainder of that phrase. A majority of Americans do want healthcare reforms, but they don’t want the reforms that liberals are trying to ram down our throats.
Another phrase they like to use is that medical professionals want healthcare reform. But there again, Democrats are showing their propaganda skills.
Many doctors do not particularly want government run health management and care. Many insist that government health management and care programs like Medicare pay only cents on the dollar to doctors for the services that they provide. They also contend to the fact that it often takes up to five years to receive those cents from the government run program.
Beyond that and the legitimate profit concern, many doctors who have read the healthcare bill, are disturbed by what they call government intervention that gets in the way of the normal doctor-patient relationship. So much so that they believe government run health management and care could be more of detriment than a help.
So the lies of the left last only so long and go only so far in the healthcare debate. For doctors who are tired of Democrats exploiting them and lying about them, they have gotten pretty fed up by all of it. That’s why on October 1st, doctors from across America will be marching on Washington, DC.
They have organized what is called Million Med March. It is A physician grassroots movement of physicians trying to, as they put it, re-establish honor, dignity and worth to the medical profession. That its sole mission is to protect the relationship between the doctor and the patient.
The march will begin at John Marshall Park and end at the Upper Senate Park where a rally will conducted. Once it is
over, all of these doctors will breakup and to meet with their state representatives.
The time has come for Democrats to face facts. Most people do not want government run healthcare and they do not want to be forced into government run programs. Liberals have to accept the fact that their lies can only get them so far and their lies on health management and care reform have run their course. The doctors of the Million Med March are simply more evidence of that fact.
President Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Harry Reid need to come to the realization that HR 3200 will either have to be thrown out and begin work on a bipartisan plan with Republicans at the table, break the bill down and try to pass individual aspects of it, or ignore the majority of Americans who oppose their plan and pass the bill by themselves, along strictly partisan lines. If they choose to do it alone, the blame will be theirs alone and the retribution will be the throwing out on their collective arses come November of 2010.
The American people realize that and so do the doctors of the Million Med March.

They only care about keeping the insurance companies "contributing"
The republicans do have their own health care bills.
Have you looked at any of them .
Tax credits granted only after purchasing insurance policy, no cost controls.
Control Medicare costs with the "trigger"
Trigger means when cost reach a certain level, cut off funds.
until following fiscal year.
Sounds just wonderful, yes?
I seriously doubt that a majority of doctors want more government involvement in their professional or personal lives. The problem with my opinion is that, like yours, there is no way to quantify it.
Anyone on either side who claims super majority support for their argument is way out there. But for sure the people on both sides are hot about it.
73% of doctors want a public option. That's according to the New England Journal of Medicine, not Dick Armey's latest wet dream.
"March of the Insurance Company Employees" is more like it.
How about yourself, what insurance company are you shilling for?
Conservatives just make up the numbers they want.
Who can argue with that?
Maybe, that's because every major poll since WWII has indicated that between 60-80% of the population DOES want it? Hmmm? Unfortunately, republiCONs are staunchly opposed to freedom of choice, and therefore want to keep forcing us all to be raped and murdered by profiteering insurance corporations, and their death panels.
"A majority of Americans do want healthcare reforms, but they don’t want the reforms that liberals are trying to ram down our throats."
Therein lies the dishonesty of the rightwing propaganda. Actually, when asked if they favor the choice of a public option, the public OVERWHELMINGLY says "YES." Sorry 'bout that. Looks like you're dead wrong, yet again.
"Many doctors do not particularly want government run health management and care."
Here again, we see the utter dishonesty and scamming nature of rightwing propaganda. Sure, many doctors don't want government-run health care. BUT, many DO want just that. There's an entire oganization of several hundred of them, united for single payer, some of whom feel so strongly about it that they've allowed themselves to be arrested for their cause. How many anti-reforming physicians have done the same, btw?

"So the lies of the left last only so long and go only so far in the healthcare debate."
But, the lies of the right last forever? Hardly. The rightwing lies on healthcare have been obliterated instantly, the moment they've been spewed.
"They have organized what is called Million Med March."
Sure hope they can avoid embarrassing themselves like the teabaggers, birthers, and 9-12ers did in their pathetic efforts.
"Poll Finds Most Doctors Support Public Option "
Sort of blows to smithereens this pathetic wingnut's pathetic wingnut claims, donut? Care to rephrase your entire, pathetic article, wingnut, or are you gonna stand on that "left wing lies" BS? Good luck with your latest circus-of-morons parade in DC. We'll be the ones pointing and laughing.
This issue has stirred up more passion than anything except maybe abortion and I don't think that is very close. One thing I don't see is evidence that supports the ObamaCare position that this idea of theirs has such huge support. I actually think depending on the detail furnished, the voters who have made up their minds are more or less equal at best- or maybe slightly more opposed than supporting.
Again, I have no more evidence than any of you despite your protestations. Its my opinion based on lots of looking around.
The details of Obama's plan are nearly as bad as Baucus'. However, when the public is asked if they would like to see the choice of a public option, there is OVERWHELMING, UNWAVERING support for it.
Personally, I think the only thing that makes sense is what the majority of physicians want...single payer. We already have the system in place, in medicare, and everybody already has a SSN. Simply let anyone who wishes to buy into medicare at any age, buy in. Those who don't want to, can keep their crappy for-profit insurance.
This would, without question, be the simplest way to implement dramatic change that would allow everybody coverage.
Americans want to handle their health care between them and their physician, not the government. Americans want to know their physician is looking out for their well being—not the financial interests of the State.
This protest should demonstrate for all to see that there is a stunning indictment of Obama and his band of thieves, czars, moochers and looters in the works, where Obama's plan can be shown for what it is...nothing more than an important step to get his three targets: health care, education and energy under his control, and his kind of government. If he is able to accomplish this, our freedoms will disappear, and a life of free choices, as we have know it.
Demonstrations like this are only one of the many movements, in an effort to stop Obama' from bringing government control into every area of the lives of Americans.
Most important for American's to discover now, is the direction in which Obama wants to take this country.
CAUTION: WATCH WHAT HE DOES...NOT WHAT HE SAYS:
Obama is an amazingly good orator, and an even more amazingly good liar. Rep. Joe Wilson was exactly right when he called this out. The support Rep. Wilson is receiving far and wide is evidence of that. Obama has already broken seven campaign promises...that is almost averaging one a month....and we have 3 years and 3 months to go?
Obama campaigned on an issue of "Change," yet it feels like a 3rd term George Bush, with movements for government control thrown in, and I was not a fan of George Bush.
Watch what he does, not what he says.
Keep your lousy for-profit insurance, if you enjoy getting screwed. Don't come crying when they deny you coverage for your heart transplant or cancer treatment. And, for God's sake, do NOT accept medicare when you're eligible. Stick with your for-profit insurance until it kills you.
"Americans want to handle their health care between them and their physician, not the government. Americans want to know their physician is looking out for their well being—not the financial interests of the State. "
Let me guess...Americans DO want insurance companie CEOs standing between them and their physician though, right? They want some fatass CEO to take home $1 billion in personal compensation by denying them coverage when they need it most, right?
You're a fool. No wonder you like the current system. Keep it, and enjoy.
