Shedding Light ~ A Summary of Summer

A summer filled with unusual weather.  Walking outside was disrupted by Mother Nature on many occassions.  Water everywhere; outside and inside.  I'm drinking as much water as Mother Nature has been dropping it from the sky.

It doesn't feel like we had summer yet.  No scorching heat, no vacation away from home.  Always busy with something or someone.  Summer priorities change as we get older I guess.

A summary of summer......I blinked and it was gone.  Time flies whether we are having fun or not.

 

No poetry, no rhyme; just thoughts in summary.  :)

That's how our summer was back in Massachusetts...blink and it was gone. Now I get to experience Spring once again in the Land Down Under and would you believe Western Australia is going through the same thing...rain every day. At least we have only had slight rainshowers and then the sun comes out. But Mag says it's cooler then normal. Drats!

It has been strange weather that is for sure. No summer untill now. and this will not last long

i had planned to do a lot of walking this summer; drop a few pounds maybe. do some much needed gardening. momma nature had other plans i guess!! thanks for stopping by deloris. i appreciate it. :)

i would gladly take some of that from you if i could. i'm not sure how the flowers & trees would feel about it since everything is already going into hibernation mode!! lol

i'm not a winter person myself. i try to hibernate as much as possible. i hope i'm wrong; but i have a feeling it's going to be a tough winter!! :(

I use to ski... Now just my husband and boys are avid skiiers and boarders. I prefer hot cocoa by the fire with a good old movie.

I know what you mean. It was a really mild summer here in MI. It's almost the end of september, and we had 80 degree weather most of the past week....

I agree fun or not time does fly. Florida is the worst for that the only time the weather changes it's because of a hurricane lol i never know its christmas time untill christmas trees are in wal-mart

My summer went by fast, but it was soooooo hot that I'm so looking forward to the cooler weather.
One day, we'll move somewhere colder, I hope! lol
