Now the title to this post can go two ways. I could write about the rain. Or write about more stuff happening in my life. I am going to write what happen yesterday.
First I will start out about yesterday. I wrote a post explaining I have been sick. After that I laid down for a bit. I received a phone call from the school saying my daughter complained of a headache when she went to get her daily eye patch on at the clinic. So they checked her temperature. Since she is never sick. Guess what! It was 101. She has a fever and I had to go get her.
First I had to wait to my hubby came home with the truck. Since, we are down to one vehicle at the moment. That sucked. Cause by time he got home and I was able to get to the school. I was stuck in the parent pick up line. These people start getting in line an hour before school lets out. Because of my bad leg I could not walk up to the school to get my daughter. Instead I was stuck in line for an hour to get her. Me not feeling good and sitting in the heat did not help my mood at all. I asked if someone could walk my daughter out to my vehicle because of how far out I was. But I heard excuse after excuse. So I sat there. But guess what when the line started moving an hour later.....someone walked my daughter out. Now how crazy was that? Well, now she is home today because school policy says students have to be fever free for 24 hours before they can come back to school.
Now if that wasn't bad enough. My teenager was outside pulling his go cart out to fix it up. So he can sell it and get some money. Well, in the process he cut himself pretty darn good. I added a picture below. It was taken with my cellphone. So, the quality is very low. I apologize for that.
I called my husband to tell him that my teen son was cut. It was deep and he needed to go to the hospital. I was without vehicle cause as soon as hubby got off of work he took the truck and left. When I told hubby he go mad and stared ranting about how we can't afford for this to keep happening. About 2 hours later he finally shows up. It is about 7 o clock. He goes on another rant. Well, my teen says he doesn't want to go to the hospital just give him something to wrap it. Look at that cut...what do you think he should have done? Gone and got a couple of stitches or staples? Or just wrap and hope for the best since you can see his muscle?
Well, it was decided my husband was going up to CVS about 10 minutes away to go get some liquid band aid and stuff to wrap the cut up. At ten o clock I call hubby to see where he is at. He tells me he will be home in about 15 to 20 minutes as he was having a hard time figuring out what he needed to pick up. I am thinking for 3 hours....give me a freak'n break already. But kept my cool. Well an hour later at 11 o'clock he still wasn't home. So I called him again. He didn't pick up. So, by this time I am very upset. I leave him a voice mail. It wasn't to nice. But I didn't cuss either. About a half hour later he shows up and helps my teen dress his wound. Than comes out to me with the new x-men - wolverine movie for 25 bucks. My husband acts like everything is okay and goes to bed.
Am I over reacting or was this just handled wrong? Seriously, I am beginning to think I am loosing it under all this stress. If it is not one thing it is another. I am not feeling good, not am I dealing with a child who is sick like me, but a teen who has a hurt hand (the one he uses) and now a hubby who throws a fit at anything that might cost money but he can buy a stupid DVD without he thinking because he feels guilty or something. He really worries me what would of happen if my teens cut wouldn't of stopped bleeding on its own.
Sorry for this being so long. I probaby should have broke this down to two posts.

Itrid on the phonewhen I called him. But he got mad because it was another bill we can't afford to pay. I mean he yelled. Two hours later he shows up to look at the cut. He starts ranting again about how we can't afford to pay for it and such. I tell him my biggest fear is because of where the cut was in my teenagers muscle. It is in the hand he uses. I use my leg asexample of not getting the proper treatmenet when needed. Than my teen said he didn't want to go because he thinks it could be wrapped up. I think he felt guilty knowing he or us didn't have the money but that wasn't the point. I tried telling my teen money or no money that needed looked at by a doctor. My husband left to go to CVS to get the stuff to bandage his hand ten minutes away....3 hours later I called my husband to see where he was......he said he waould be home ina bout 15 to 20 mintues....an hour later he still wasn't home. So I called and left a voice mail. my husband came home than.
I did clean his wound out waiting on my husband. I cleaned out with both proxide and alcohol. He now has bandages that keep it covered up. I am going to look at it when he gets home from school. I know being this long the doctors will not add stitches or staples. As was the case with my daughter which was only a few hours for her wrist.
